I was gonna make a big post about the financial number analysis, breaking it down by contributors and average donations, but it got too confusing. So here’s my question:

 

At close to $840K and almost 14,000 backers, at $60 per contributor, do the numbers make sense? Does the scenario of 14,000 individuals shelling out ~$60 for a PS3 project in 18 days seem realistic?

 

inb4 “you didn’t count the big donors.” I did. Taking the $200 and up contributors out of the equation, the average lowers to ~$50.

I was recently given a wii and was already pissed about the friend code thing being discontinued when I got it.

craigslist is indeed a magical place.

Got that microphone I was looking for for like, $10.

All it took was:

– drive about 1 hour into the boondocks at night

– risk getting stranded with an empty fuel tank had it not been by that lone gas station

– drive about 2 miles on an unlit dirt road without a GPS

– try to explain to an old woman that some guy on the internet gave me her home address so I could pick up a microphone for a game she never knew nothing about.

– finally find the guy on the corner, and exchange the money and microphone without making it look it a drug deal was taking place

 

At least the night scenery was beautiful, and got to go somewhere new.

If you’ve got the time and overlook the possibility of getting your organs harvested, buying stuff from people on craigslist can be a fun experience.

Might I ask exactly what changes you made?

Available CONs prior to this update had a tempo and notes inconsistent with the audio, reflected by broken streaks and some frustrated players.

Since the music video audio was a measure ahead than the GH3 audio, I took all the MIDI notes back a measure to align with the GH3 multitracks and its tempo map.

I then reviewed guitar and bass charts from both your custom and Neversoft’s work, and worked them together.

Then I playtested it, and had fun.

With the exception of the 5-lane guitar/bass charts, everything, including overdrive, solo markings, venue and events, is your work, which is why I’m not considering myself its rightful author, just the guy putting 2 and 2 together.
