The length of camera cuts depend on the beat track, and the animation speed setting in magma. If you feel the length is consistently off, try fiddling with either.
Another thing you can try is duplicating the directed cut and placing the second one just before the cut you actually want.
I recall reading somewhere that this sometimes works, but the exact set of circumstances were never explained completely.
I’m in Australia, and just getting an xbone and RB4 would be a very expensive endeavor, If I just got a console, the game, and the legacy adapter from amazon I would have to pay around $700AUD.
Not being able to use a midi kit, no keys, no pro guitar, and no RBN, it’s a lot to pay for 2 (subjectively) gimmicky features and a new setlist.
If I already had RB4, of course I would use customs. But even with customs, while RB3 exists I just cannot justify the cost.
I’m just a bit bummed there’s a setlist and DLC of songs I can’t play, lucky it’s not really the best setlist…
I author one section of the song at a time for all difficulties. So I’ll author the first chorus with all difficulties and animations, then copy paste to all other choruses. This means when you find anything you need to change in later sections you can alter all the difficulties at the same time.
I also find it way easier to author easy before medium and hard, just because it’s easier to tell how difficult to make everything when you’re working with the easiest you can make the part first. And also that’s the order the RB preview window in reaper follows, so less clicking.

Great job on the venue. Top notch professional quality. Not the average auto venue we see all the time. Really put your heart into it. The only ones I’ve seen that good are my own ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
Thanks! I’m glad to hear the effort I’ve put in is being appreciated.
Here’s a list of songs that I’ve made custom venues for, in case you want to check out some other ones.
Them bones
Nutshell
Horizons
Julia
Push th’ little daisies (I’m especially proud of this one)
Maquiladora
Saturday Saviour
Goodbye blue sky
and Whores.
Happy to help with points 2 and 3.
Congratulations!
Sounds great, best of luck.Well that’s interesting, I didn’t know that about the Wii version.
It would be greatly appreciated if you uploaded any multitracks you have that have not been modified in any way.
Partial multitracks are useful in game in some circumstances, and are always useful while authoring.
RBN doesn’t support trainers, that’s why no RBN songs have keys trainers.
Cool that you got it working on the Wii, hopefully it will also work on the 360.November 15, 2015 at 12:46 am in reply to: Drihscol’s Full Band Customs W/Pro Guitar – Genesis – Horizons, Alice in Chains – Them Bones #4593112 customs up today!
Horizons was released as part of a pack by AJFOne23, check out that post here!
Good luck to pro guitar players on Horizons! Also up is an updated version of Them Bones. I did the GH2RB3 chart way back in the day when I didn’t really know what I was doing ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />.
Rush HMX dlc, Limelight, YYZ, The Camera Eye, 2112, Fly by Night.
Customs, Freewill, La Villa Strangiato, By-Tor and the Snow Dog, Lakeside Park.
Everything ever by Rush, Wynona’s big brown beaver by Primus, Push th’ little daisies has a fun part, Jane’s Addiction tracks,
Give it a go, but I don’t think it works like that.
That would be like an upgrade for a RBN track, so it wouldn’t work
I’ll bite, what have you got?
