I love waking up on Canada Day these days and scrolling through the new releases on the database. So glad to have more 54-40, more Hip (of course), and some Econoline Crush at last. And bravo to everyone else who contributed (Crazy River! Tea Party! Wooooo!). You guys are the best.
Have a good one. Hope we live in a world again soon where I’m allowed to go back north to visit.
Man, thats my favorite Uzbek funk band!

Dear lord, thank you. The rest of it too. You finally broke the seal on 54-40!

One of those mentioned is a custom already:
Don’t Get Me Wrong

The other ones were a nice trip back to those songs I had forgotten about. Message of Love was such a cool beat and rhythm. Remember hearing that the first time and thinking, “well, that’s completely different.” Still great today. Might take that one on.
BUT, hope you take up authoring and can create these great songs for us all to play!
Trust me, I’m already perched at the edge of that rabbit-hole. As soon as someone invents hours 25-36 of the day, I might just jump in. And my family will never hear from me again.
Oh, of course Don’t Get Me Wrong is in there. I _have_ that custom. Duh.

*checks database*
“Oh. OK, then.”
*head explodes*
Yup, that was exactly it. Thanks again, guys — I never would have figured that out without help, and would have battered myself to bits trying to find the one bad apple in the barrel, when in fact the barrel … um … had no lid? I think I lost control of this metaphor.
Anyway, thanks!
Thanks, guys. I’ll check that out tonight. I bet I deleted it when I exceeded the limit and split my songs between two sticks.
The pride flag is probably just because all the main-pack artists are LGBTQ.
Bloc Party — Positive Tension
I’m getting something like this on my 360; I currently have two thumb drives with 2000+ customs on each, and one just stays on the first camera position for every song when it’s plugged in (including showing nothing but the backgrounds in the “music video” settings). The other drive works fine, so I know it has to be something about the first drive — I assume one particular song with something glitched in its data. The problem for me is isolating _which_ song. I know I could find it by trial and error … but like I said, 2000+ songs. Even doing it efficiently, splitting the songs in half repeatedly and seeing which half has the problem, we’re talking like 11 passes to isolate the problem song — if it even is just one problem song.
Is there some other way to figure out which song is causing the problem, besides this kind of grunt work? Like … god, I don’t even know. But if anyone knows an easy solution to this that doesn’t involve hours of transferring songs around and reloading into the game, I’d sure love to hear it.
(Standard disclaimer: thanks to everyone for all the incredible work on all the things; I can’t believe what’s available in this game now thanks to all the excellent people in this community.)
December 12, 2018 at 4:50 pm in reply to: C3 neXt Generation: Trivia Contest – Leg 1 Week 13 #502385Attention: charting songs from Moana will lead to them being the ONLY DAMN THING my kids are willing to play on this game.
On the other hand, that would replace Maroon 5 as the recipient of that honor, so win-win.
December 11, 2018 at 3:16 pm in reply to: C3 neXt Generation: Trivia Contest – Leg 1 Week 13 #502369OK, so the secret venue is somehow Disney World. Is there more we can divine from this?
*Shudders at the possibility that It’s a Small World is somehow being charted …*
More importantly though, I am just really not in love with that song any longer, if you hear the Hip on the radio its a 1 in 3 chance its New Orleans is Sinking, I think I’ve heard it 10000 times. I don’t know that I could sit through another 40 listens in a row, its worn out on me.
Probably not the answer you’re hoping for.
Good news though I have three other songs in the early stages! All of them are not that song.
Thanks for the support.
Well dang, There go my dreams of getting a rendition of the Killer Whale Tank version any time soon.
Can’t wait to see which songs you’re doing next. Love to see some slower stuff, like Scared and 38 Years Old and of course Wheat Kings, and both Road Apples and Day For Night could use some more love, but really there isn’t a Hip song I wouldn’t play the hell out of, so.
Rev. Horton Heat mega-pack confirmed!
