Holy crap. Hokkaido, Japan? I know it’s a super longshot, but could it be The Pillows?
November 2, 2018 at 1:48 am in reply to: Issues with “Foreplay/LongTime”, “Train Kept A Rollin'”, “Won’t Be Fooled Again”, and “Green Grass And High Tides” #501731It doesn’t look like this?
Yes
To say I’m excited about the “Snow Cats” and “Home” releases is an understatement.
November 1, 2018 at 7:40 pm in reply to: Issues with “Foreplay/LongTime”, “Train Kept A Rollin'”, “Won’t Be Fooled Again”, and “Green Grass And High Tides” #501718- Open C3 CON Tools (download it if you don’t have it).
- Select Quick Pack Editor (middle left).
- Drag and drop the LIVE/CON file into the top white area.
- Click “dePACK” and wait.
- Once it’s finished processing you should have the unpacked version of the song.
Okay, I’m still not getting it. I get to the Quick Pack Editor and drag the file to the top but dePACK isn’t an option (but Batch dePack is).
Adding some new ones to my “thankful for” section, or whatever you wanna call it!
“Wild Wild Life” by Talking Heads
A very underrated song for the Talking Heads.
“A Night Like This” by The Cure
The Cure is one of the best rock bands in the world. Either you agree with me or you are wrong.
Okay, clearly I missed this post, but this seriously made my day. If that inspired someone to get into Rock Band, I’m one happy boy.
While I have a feeling she is debating it, I don’t think she’ll go with it. I mean, finding all the hardware for RB3 is tricky nowadays, but I’ll always keep the song on hand for both me, and if I ever hold a party she’s at.
October 19, 2018 at 7:37 pm in reply to: C3X World Tour, Week Five: Primavera Sound Festival, Day One! #501479I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR “THIS MUST BE THE PLACE”! THANK YOU SO MUCH! AND FROM ‘STOP MAKING SENSE’ AT THAT!
October 14, 2018 at 11:10 pm in reply to: Issues with “Foreplay/LongTime”, “Train Kept A Rollin'”, “Won’t Be Fooled Again”, and “Green Grass And High Tides” #501403Depack the song packages so the full-length and short versions are separate. The Quick Pack Editor in C3 CON Tools can do that for you.
You should be able to upgrade the full-length songs without error then.
Still not getting it entirely. I do hate to ask, but could you possibly give me a walk-through?
Just bumping to make sure you didn’t miss all the Arcade Fire tunes… I know you wanted the EP version but hey, the album is the superior No Cars Go!
Also if I were you I would check out next Friday too, might be something you like…
I did see all that wonderful Arcade Fire! While it wasn’t the EP version, I’ll happily take it! (While I still think the EP version is better, I still love them both so very much)
And I’ll keep my eyes peeled! Thanks for all your amazing work!
RB4 added Bizzare Love Triangle. So we had two New Order songs in the regular game! Not sure about customs here. I’d love to see more though.
Yeah, it did show up for RB4, but the lack of keys does bum me out a bit.
Hey all!
I keep forgetting I’m more than just a lurker here now (I mean, I’m not really more than a fan/requester here).
However, I’m going to add my input for songs that are added that I didn’t realize how much I wanted. In fact, here is the first batch:
“Invaders Must Die” by The Prodigy
I’ve been a fan of The Prodigy the second I heard ‘Fat Of The Land’, and would love to see more in the future. On a slightly related note, anyway we can get DJ Hero mixes on Rock Band? Long shot, I know.
A simple and cute song about moving on. Needless to say, this song has helped me quite a few times.
“Television!/Television!/Television!/Television!/Television!” and so on and so forth.
“Disarm (Live)” by Smashing Pumpkins
“Mayonaise (Acoustic)” by Smashing PumpkinsThe Pumpkins are one of my favorite bands. These two songs from ‘Siamese Dream’ are some of my favs, and I do love how Earphoria made them so different.
“Down By The Water” by PJ Harvey
When we have this song play at my work, I seem to frighten some customers and co-workers how I know this PJ Harvey song. Shame on them for not knowing it.
Speaking of co-workers, one of them is a huge Bad Suns fan, and I know she’s going to be happy. In fact, she might get Rock Band 3 just for this.
“Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole
To be honest, this song was going to be a request of mine. However, I didn’t think it would be ideal. Either way, thank you so freaking much, you angels.
A criminally underrated song, and I’m actually sad we only ever got one New Order song (two if you count Joy Division, which sorta is New Order, but not).
“JoJo Sono Chi no Kioku (end of THE WORLD)” by JO STARS (TOMMY, Coda, JIN)
All these Jojo songs are a labor of love, from their charts to their venues. I’m over the freaking moon about these customs. Ora ora ora ora ora ora!
In that case you can use the same process to bundle the keyboard upgrades. No manual editing of any DTA files is necessary. Just follow the instructions for overlaying the extra upgrades you want on top of the harmonies upgrades, before feeding them all to the bundler. The bundler then takes care of the rest.
Got it now, thanks! I was confused with GitHub for a bit and I thought I had something else I needed to do. But all good now!
No. Cut charted the single version of the song, which has no gunshots.
I’m good with either! (Truth be told, I was curious how one would chart the gunshots.)
I’m so excited for all of these songs! Thanks again!
I am a happy sponge.
Thank you everyone for this amazing work! I can’t wait to play so many of these!
Also, does “This Is America” have the gunshots?
Good news about Army: I managed to get my hands on the renegade CON and the custom appears solid as shiz after I got everything imported into and working properly with Reaper. I don’t think I’ll have to do much to it to make it worthy of release (in my perfectionist eyes), so a big kudos to the original author, GrmRepr0… who apparently only ever released one custom and hasn’t been active for over two years. A shame! I’ll be going over the vocals with a fine-toothed comb (which definitely need improvements), adding harmonies, and tweaking the bass line myself, and making sure the venue is fitting. If anybody wants to check out the drums for me, I’d appreciate it.
Awesome! Shame they only did the one though.
Good list man!
Don’t want to spoil too much, but at least two (and possibly three, looking at you truejedi ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />) of the songs you’ve listed are being done (and I’ve taken part in all of them) and will be released as part of the coming C3X tour dates, along with big packs of said artists, and lots of others really amazing stuff. So make sure you check them out – some truly amazing stuff is being planned.
As for Nick Cave, not sure when I’ll get to “Red Right Hand” specifically, but as long as I’m here I’ll be interested in charting Nick Cave. So don’t worry, you have at least one charter whose a huge fan. And there’s one of his songs coming fairly soon, too. A much better one than Red Right Hand in my humble opinion ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Cool! Kinda wanna know which ones, but I’m sure I’ll find out soon enough!
I will work in 2 song of the killers of you request but I upload this song after upload others customs that I need to upload. The song “Runaways” I just now that other autor work in this song (I’m waiting this custom cause these autors make great customs)
No worries! Take your time with any songs you’re working on!
Where are you right now on using files from the Rock Band Harmonies Project? Have you successfully added harmonies and/or pro drum upgrades using the RBHP packager? Or are you completely new to the RBHP?
Just finished bundling harmonies using the packager.
