I lost my save file a while ago, but it’s a fair bet that “I’m Amazed” by My Morning Jacket is at the top. “Thrash Unreal” is catching up, though.

    I like this guy…

So here’s something you can teach me for a change.

Where exactly do I see play count? I didn’t remember seeing it but since I barely turn on the game anymore, I figured i forgot about it. Now that i’m looking at it, I don’t see anywhere that says the play count. I’m curious if it’s saved to the cache file

Sort By > Play Count. Hold orange to go to the top of the list, and it sorts songs by how many times you’ve played each.

Good stuff, learning something new even so many years later.

It’s not promising since I just rebuilt the cache after a massive re-doing of the songs for the pub Xbox, and it’s got values saved, so i’m assuming those are saved in the save game file.

At the pub, the most played song by far is Wolf Like Me by TV on the Radio (65), followed by Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon (46) and Lisztomania by Phoenix (45).

EDIT: and a quick hex search in my cache file did not provide me with the numbers I was looking for, so I don’t think these are stored in the cache file. Oh well.

I lost my playcounts once I went customs, which is a shame, since I did like to track them (totally worth it, though).

Once I got into pro guitar, that skewed my counts, I played some easy pro guitar songs over and over, like the CCR songs. Drumming is my go-to though, and my all-time favorite and most drummed song is “Bold as Love” by Jimi Hendrix. It’s a relatively deep track, but insanely fun to drum.

Others that are way up there: “Seven” by Sunny Day Real Estate,” “Piece of My Heart” by Janis Joplin, and “Can I Play with Madness?” by Iron Maiden.

For customs, I played that crap out of that psychedelic/classic rock pack as well as “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by the Proclaimers, “Don’t You Forget About Me” by Simple Minds, and “No Leaf Clover” by Metallica.

Oh you are so right. That solo is awesome. Very under-appreciated song.

I’m gonna say screw it and say my most played song…

“Between Fairytales and Happy Endings – PrinceWhateverer”. Got no overdrives but better bucking believe that I played the heck out of this, getting 5 stars 100% on all instruments… All difficulties! (Almost at least. Expert Guitar is 98% and Expert Vocals is 99%. Hadn’t gotten to drums yet).

If you didn’t say “Say It Ain’t So”, you’re either lying, or didn’t play RB1.

              :excited:

Well… absolutely not this one! It’s the truth and I played RB1 a lot.

              If you’ve been playing since RB1, it’s I Think I’m Paranoid, and it’s sad…

And certainly not this one too!

On RB1 I guess my most played song might have been “Ballroom Blitz” (was having a lot of fun doing bullshit on vocals with a friend on this song).

In RB3, my several cache rebuildings do not help to know which song it is, as I played a lot of custom songs… But dealing with official stuff, at a time I remember it was “Somewhere I belong” by Linkin Park. I’ll check at home when I can.

If you did Band World Tour or w/e, you would be playing the hell out of those songs, esp. if you didn’t have a diverse DLC catalogue (e.g. at launch).

Bon Jovi – It’s my Life, I am slightly ashamsed to say. Thats what you get when you have so many Rock Band parties!

By quite a margin, it has to be “Go Your Own Way” by Fleetwood Mac. I use it to warm up on drums (hard, the best I can manage) and it was one of the first songs I could comfortably play on Expert Guitar (“shooting Star” by Bad Company was the first, getting me used to the speed and oranges! Played that a lot too, but mostly pre-RB3)
