Xbox stopped recognizing drums

Recently my xbox has started acting screwy. All of a sudden certain drums wouldn’t register. ( I play on an Alesis dm10x pro kit ). So I “rebooted” my drum brain, reset all the parameters and all was good, for 2 songs. Then the adapter wasn’t picking up my kick, even after adjusting the sensitivity on the adapter. Any thoughts?
