I’m almost finished with a custom, and the only things left are the bass chart and overdrive phrases. Overdrive, of course, I can do on my own, but I don’t have an ear for bass (or harmonies), and the tabs I come across are inaccurate. If anyone with a better ear than mine is interested, please contact me via PM, and thank you in advance for the interest.

What you can do to make the bass more audible is the use a FX plug in called ReaPitch, use this in the audio file and set it 2 octaves higher. This will make the song sound like chipmunks but the bass frequencies will be much more audible.

        Hope this helps.

I’ll try that, thanks for the advice. Admins, please lock this thread.

One octave is actually enough and will not wipe away higher bass notes.

Could doing some bass boast then doing the octave thing help?

Bass boost requires more expertise but sure, the more you make low frequencies pop up, the better. Always remember the pitch shift trick will make any instrument pop up, including strings, which you you need to ignore if you’re authoring bass.
