Hi all,

 

I have found a Wii Mustang Pro Guitar for a very good price and I am tempted. But I have the game on PS3.

 

I know that the Pro Keyboard and the MPA midi adapter for Wii and PS3 are internally almost identical and can be converted into each other by changing a single switch. I have done the Wii->PS3 conversion myself for the MPA and it worked like a charm!

 

But has anyone tried to do the same on the Mustang Pro Guitar, or knows that it can be done?

You can just use the pro guitar from any console through the MPA with a MIDI cable. That’s what I do to play my PS3 guitar on Wii and also on PS3, as I lost my dongle. Just make sure that it is not connected wirelessly to the dongle, as it takes the dongle as priority.

Thanks! That’s a great option also ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> But I would still look into a conversion if possible, because we only have 1 MPA which we use for the eDrums, so we wouldn’t be able to play eDrums and Pro Guitar at thesame time.
