I’ve found an odd issue that truly isn’t important, but is driving me crazy. My online vs. Customs setup works like this: I have all of my “fun/party” DLC & RBN tracks on my HDD, with my party-unfriendly DLC/RBN on a 32GB USB stick, and all of my Customs on a second USB stick, along with my offline profile. Switching between the two modes basically just involves swapping out the USB sticks.

Lately I’ve also been moving my duplicate DLC (non RB3-versions of songs/packs like CTP2, Queen, Bon Jovi, etc.) to the 32GB non-party stick just to keep the party clutter down. My issue is with Queen Pack 01 – the 10-song pack released back in 2009. Since I recently grabbed the RB3 versions it’s time to retire the originals to someplace other than my HDD, at least until I hit the 2952-song limit for my online collection. My problem is that I can’t find the file – it isn’t listed under any of the 3 Rock Band storage folders. I’ve looked & looked but the pack just isn’t listed anyplace that I can see, even though I know it’s there. The newer Queen files are properly showing up in the RB3 folder.

Now I know that I could just delete the pack from within RB3, but I don’t really want to delete it just yet. Obviously this isn’t a desperate problem, but it is sort of perplexing. Has anyone else come across anything like this?

Since it is older pre-RB3 DLC, did you look in the RB2 and RB1 storage folders?

You specifically stated you couldn’t find it in the RB3 folders, which is why I ask.

I looked in all 3 folders.

I had this same issue with the Anvil pack, never figured it out so I split the pack and deleted it from within the game and put the individual songs in, I think it might have something to do with the .dta file.

Thanks for the data point. Now I know that it’s at least possible that I’m not losing my mind.

I found the Queen Pack 01 under “Rock Band” on my HDD. The RB3 enhanced pack was under Rock Band 3 as expected.

Perhaps you saved it to your memory stick accidentally when you downloaded it, or maybe you already moved it over at another time earlier. So check under Rock Band on that too.

I went through the same thought process. It’s still definitely on the HDD, and definitely not showing up in the “Storage” browser. Very strange.

Are you sure you own the pack and not just all the individual songs?

Absolutely. Verified by attempting to delete individual tracks and being hit with the “you are about to delete 10 songs” pop up.
