I’ve looked quite a bit but I still haven’t found what I’m looking for. ;-)

The song has a lot of repetitious snare already in it, so putting it on snare seems like there’s not enough differentiation. Since it would be snare, kick, snare, kick, snare, kick, snare rim with hi-hat hitting throughout. Not charting it to snare makes the drummer flip hands to hit any other drum.

Anyone have experience or have seen this charted well?

Take a look at Blink-182’s “Miss You”.

It’s all snare, but played across red and the yellow and blue toms.

HMX very creative and clever to translate that. Not sure I want to take all the hi-hat away and put it on toms, but something I guess now to play around with. Thanks for the reference, appreciate that.

By the way, “take a look at what Harmonix did” is exactly the way to go for any issue. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

It’s obviously where I start from a logistics perspective; however, I don’t even know sometimes what certain sounds are, and then when I do identify them, have no idea what of the 2.000+ songs that are in the RB library it would be in. Wish I could be at the level that a lot of people here are, but it takes me a little more time to get there.
