I’m trying to use the CAT tools. I installed Python, but when I go to my preferences in Reaper I don’t see anything relating to reascript. I have done about an hour of google searching to no result, and I feel like a complete idiot.

Me too, after getting back on the authoring horse after a couple years. I forgot that I used to use REAPER 4.x for CAT, and REAPER 3.x for regular authoring. Are you using 4.x?

Actions > Show actions list > ReaScript: New/Load

I haven’t tried 4.x yet, I’ll give that a shot
