As per RB3 “Break on through” what would make a great RB4 intro song? Something catchy? well known lyrics, something to get you or those new to the franchise fired up. Obviously an on disc song that you could play, not an existing song or dlc.
Disclaimer: If you actually know what it is, don’t spoil it for the rest of us.

Maybe Violent Shiver. It’s not well known, but it worked for the trailer.
Break On Through?
Rock N Roll Hoochie Koo.
Start a band makes sense to me but there’s not a lot of love for country so I’m sure it will be something else. I’m glad to see two country songs on the rb4 setlist. We aren’t completely forgotten lol.
Back when RB4 was first announced, I thought Boston’s “Don’t Look Back” would have made a great RB4 intro tune, for a variety of reasons.
Among the songs in the RB4 setlist, “Start a Band” is the obvious choice, country or not. “Panama” would work very well, though they might get accused of ripping off
if they go that route… not to mention accusations of thumbing their noses at GHVH… which I would fully support. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
“Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo” is also a good choice.
Off the top of my head, Centuries and Hail to the King seem to make the most sense at least lyrically.
Violent Shiver, Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo, At Night in Dreams, or Short Skirt/Long Jacket are most likely. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t one of those.
Stone Free (the proper version). Because Harmonix is doing it’s own thing now, it would make a great intro song and because of Hendrix. Completely unbiased, obviously.
Back in the real world:
Violent Shiver, Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo, At Night in Dreams, or Short Skirt/Long Jacket are most likely. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t one of those.
I think Violent Shiver could be the one, I didn’t know the song before but I can see it working. It would also put some focus on the the contemporary songs.
Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo is a really good one too, but my money is on Violent Shiver
Has anyone seen what i did with my post?
