I have a Devon Rex, got him in 2024 from https://purebredkitties.com/collections/devon-rex-kittens-for-sale when I was working remotely and home most of the time. But starting in the fall, I had to travel for work, sometimes for 3–4 days. I looked for ways to make sure he wouldn’t go hungry without overloading my neighbor, who occasionally checks in. I bought an automatic feeder with a timer and set it to dispense 30g of food three times a day, as recommended by the breeder. The first time I left him alone for three days, I was super anxious, but I watched through the camera; he ate, slept, and played just fine. I also use an automatic water fountain with a filter; it lasts long and keeps the water fresh. The key is to double-check that everything is filled and charged before you leave.
