It just so happens that I planned on working on Dare to Be Stupid a while ago and never got around to charting, but I did get a tempo map done. Would you like me to send you the reaper project so that then you have a tempo map?

Just a quick question if anyone has the answer to.
There are more than a few “Weird Al” songs that have the singer burp or pant. Is there a certain proper way to chart them? I’m in the middle of finishing “Eat It” and they burp and pant in the song, (I think this goes for Another One Rides the Bus as well) I don’t just want to make the lyric “Burp” unless that’s what you’re supposed to do. I’m stuck.

Sounds effects or non-words are always in the form of
. Most prominent with
in official releases. The only time I would opt for *lyric* is if we’re charting something being sung by the Orz.

So I had some time today and I finished “Eat It”. I think I might as well throw it into playtesting now just so I can get feedback as quick as possible.
Did we want to schedule this for October 18, or just let it hang out until whenever and release it when we’ve got enough songs?Honestly, I’m a bit concerned that we’d have the megapack Weird Al deserves ready in time for October 18, especially if we want to include Albuquerque. What do you guys think? Go for October 18 and release whatever we have, or wait for everything we want in the pack? Remember, October 18 is only six weeks away!

pksage, if you feel more comfortable releasing it after October 18th, that would be fine be me. And you’re right, I haven’t started White & Nerdy yet, not until I finish the other ones. But White & Nerdy shouldn’t take that longs in terms of charting the instruments because the whole thing is a loop.
Should we go for it, then? Is everyone comfortable getting their songs done in 5 weeks and some change?
(Basically, I just need to know if anyone already signed up for a song would back out if given that deadline.)
That would be fine by me, I can get it done in that amount of time. Should I put my songs in the scheduler?
