Hey everyone. I charted a lot in the early days of C3 but haven’t charted anything in like 2+ years. I got a request from a family member I’d like fulfill, and it’s all slowly coming back to me. The only thing I don’t remember and can’t find in any of the tutorials regarding vocals, is whats the quick shortcut key was to lineup all vocals if you are charting manually? For example If I had 20 midi notes for vocals, I would add 20 individual vocal markers manually one after another close to the beginning of the note but not lined up, and then would do a hot key like CNTRL+??? to line up all the vocals but I can’t remember what that was. If anyone could refresh that would be great! Thank You!
SHIFT+A with notes selected.
OK SHIFT+A thank you. I held CTRL plus every button on the keyboard but forgot it was shift. Thanks again.
Why don’t you just use a TXT file though?
If I’m understanding it, he’s setting the notes, then setting the lyrics, then lining them up. That’s how I prefer to do it. I think it’s easier compared to the other way of setting hundreds of notes, then hoping the lyrics match up.

Lately I get a lot of “dude, the way you’re doing it is wrong” from people who don’t have an insane amount of authoring hours. Since I recently hit song #900 and my patience bar is not as filled as once was, I only volunteer useful information once. People like it? Good. People don’t like it? As I said before, we are all free to waste the time the way we like and we don’t have to follow anyone’s advice anyway. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
