Hey guys I was wondering if there is anyway that you can isolate just the vocal parts of songs (also harmonies)?

Vocals are usually mixed to the center. Some “Karaoke modes” subtract out the common audio with varying degrees of success. The answer is generally no. Much less so with harmonies.

Melodyne is perhaps the best choice for this. They have various software between $70 and $500+ and free trials. For songs that are less dense, the results are fantastic when someone is willing to put in the effort into it. All of their tutorials focus on songs that lend themselves to great results. Not sure if it will help for complex songs or those with harmonies. Works for other instruments too. This tutorial shows how you can do it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FScFKuXXM0

Melodyne is better than the REAPER built-in, but it’s still too loose for RB3. You’ll still have to shave off consonants and short semitone slides.
