Don’t say that! To be honest I try to release a wide range of songs of varying genres.
Recently though I have been on a bit of a kick of getting easy songs done and the simple song structure and instruments of pop songs have been on the brain. I do have some other things planned though!

Well, the Alice Cooper song is from 2012, it’s more of a party rock jam… and the Jackyl is from 2011, and it’s “ACDC like”..

Hey everyone, I figured I should give everyone an update on what’s been going on.
It’s been 4 months since my last release. I have to say that I’m sorry that I’ve taken a hiatus from charting for a while. Life has been really tough for me lately and there are some other non-Rock Band projects that I’ve been doing in my spare time. I haven’t forgotten about everyone, just kind of lost my spark I guess. I’m not sure when I’ll be back, but I will have some stuff done when I do. Mirrors is mostly finished and Pick and Choose is close. I’m not sure when I’ll be back, but I promise I still love you all.

I’m sorry for the long hiatus. My life has been utter chaos and I honestly lost the want to work on Rock Band songs. However, because of some recent events I’ve been able to turn things around and now I am wanting to chart more Rock Band songs! I apologize again to anyone who has been expecting anything from me and I haven’t been able to deliver. Once again I have to apologize and say the Pop Pack #2 has been shelved indefinitely, but I really hope to finish it in the future. Also, I’m not sure I can promise to adhere to any set schedule, but I would like to try and get stuff out semi-regularly (maybe 3 songs a month?).
To help celebrate, I have a new pack! All of the same genre! I will be releasing this sometime within the week! Thank you again and enjoy!
Song #1: This song comes from this band’s 4th album, and last before the lead singer left the band for a second time. A very high paced but melodic song, it deals with the aggressive pain of heartbreak and affairs. It has been covered by an alternative metal band for the re-release of their 2007 album.
Song #2: This song has actually been kind of done for a while, and was my first collaboration with anyone on the forum. This is one of my favorite songs to be featured in an extreme sports game and comes from the band’s 1995 album. Bassist beware!
Song #3: This final song is from an extremely influential band from this genre. Although released on cassette in 95, it was originally recorded in the 70’s. “All new and more horrific than before!”

Emotional and fun, I chose this as it’s possibly the Descendents’ most famous song! It’s also very good and pretty fun on all instruments!

I had to get some Danzig-era Misfits into the customs game so here’s Return of the Fly! Expect to possibly see more from this album in the future! Very fun on bass and all instruments are sure to jam out!

“…wait, it’s Expert Guitar Only! Zanny77 never makes just Expert Guitar Only, they like to complete the instruments at the least and add difficulties if possible!” is what I’m secretly hoping you’re thinking. There’s a very big reason why that is, and it also explains the hiatus I took and why I’ve been so out of sorts with customs.
This was a very hard song for me to chart, way harder than I thought it would be. I wanted to chart this song and Fuckmylife666 and Unconditional Love from the same album also, but it’s just so difficult. Not in a skill-based difficult way, but emotionally. This album I didn’t realize hits way too close to home on almost every song and it’s just physically and emotionally draining to try to work on them.
So if you don’t know anything about these songs, I’ll tell you why: It’s because I’m trans, and currently transitioning from male to female. Over the summer I was feeling very depressed and anxious and I wasn’t sure why and it drove me to the point of suicide. I couldn’t cope with anything anymore and I didn’t know why. I realize now it was the last bit of resolve to keep living as male. However, I found out about hormone replacement therapy after a dream I had that inspired me to finally stop repressing, the night after I finalized my plan to end my life. It saved my life and is now changing all of me for the better. Because of this big change, I haven’t been able to upload customs as often as I wish, so I apologize.
As I’ve become more used to how the hormones effect my body, I’m now able to focus on working on some songs. I have a 3 pack planned that I’ll give hints for when it’s complete, and have another 3 pack in the works (I like 3 packs I guess
