I have a chart made with only expert on guitar, bass, and drums, and when I try to build it in Magma I get a ton of errors like this:

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): No gems after drum fill at [22:1:000] for easy difficulty

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): No gems after drum fill at [42:1:000] for easy difficulty

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): No gems after drum fill at [50:1:000] for easy difficulty

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): No gems after drum fill at [54:1:000] for easy difficulty

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): No gems after drum fill at [62:1:000] for easy difficulty

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): No gems after drum fill at [74:1:000] for easy difficulty

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): No gems after drum fill at [78:1:000] for easy difficulty

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): No gems after drum fill at [86:1:000] for easy difficulty

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART GUITAR): Overdrive phrase at [17:1:000] has no gems in easy difficulty

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): Overdrive phrase at [17:1:000] has no gems in easy difficulty

[...]

Goes on for pages and pages. I don’t know how to tell the program that I don’t want to chart the other difficulties. I’m mainly making this custom for myself, and it’s my first time doing this. Any help would be appreciated.

For self purposes you can just copy your expert track down or use CAT’s auto-reductions.

Yeah you can’t leave other difficulties empty when using fills, overdrive phrases or solo markers… or anything that requires notes in every difficulties. When I do an expert only track I simply copy the expert track to all the difficulties. Gotta agree with kueller though; if you’re not doing pro g/b/k use CAT automatic reductions. It’s not the best but at least they’re there.

Alright, I just downloaded CAT and it’s a lot easier than I expected. Thanks guys!

CAT isn’t even necessary if you only care about expert. Just select all your expert notes and press Alt+C to copy them down to hard. Select the hard notes and repeat the steps, etc.
