I’m gonna do some deductive reasoning and assume because you’re all on here that you at least like music a little bit so I feel obligated to make this generic thread that’s on every forum because I’m creative and original like that. Naturally if there’s already a thread like this I apologize, I looked but couldn’t find one which doesn’t mean one doesn’t exist.
Of course there are no regulations as to what constitutes “what are you listening to” so share a single song, a new band you discovered, an album you’ve had on repeat, whatever you’re “listening to”!
I’m going to discount the song I’m currently working on in Reaper, which means the most recent song I was listening to was:
My Wave – Soundgarden (Superunknown, 1994)
I was hoping they’d go the Pearl Jam route and chart all the rest of Superunknown for RB3 but they seem to be getting there slowly but surely with individual songs.
February 4, 2016 at 8:23 pm #463048One that just caught my ear was a cover of Steppenwolf – Born to be Wild done by ACDC. I have had the file a long time but thought it was just labeled wrong. They do a good job on it
February 5, 2016 at 12:02 am #463062I just got around to watching the “History of the Eagles” documentary, so I’ve been revisiting that catalog a bit lately.
February 5, 2016 at 1:15 am #463067Had Def Leppard’s High & Dry playing on my phone this afternoon. Hadn’t listened to that in years and years. Brought me right back to 1981. When I was a teenager.
I am no longer a teenager. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

Heyooooo New Zealand music. Fun fact, their member Joel Little has gone on to produce all of Lorde’s debut, Pure Heroine. Pretty different style!
I’ve been really into the new Chairlift album a lot, damn it’s good synthpop.
February 5, 2016 at 4:29 am #463076I’m an emo kid at heart so I’ve been listening to Jimmy Eat World and the Gaslight Anthem a lot recently. I’m working on authoring an My Chemical Romance album so I’m listening to them a lot as well, ha ha.

February 5, 2016 at 8:33 pm #463111Fridays are ’80s days for me. When I’m not distracted by other things, I listen to an album, ramble about that album in another forum, then spend the commute home with the ’80s playlist on random. Today’s ’80s album was the Labyrinth soundtrack featuring David Bowie.
February 5, 2016 at 9:18 pm #463115Mostly Billy Talent and Green Day. Looking forward to Billy Talent’s new album this year and I’m hoping Green Day releases one, too.
February 5, 2016 at 9:34 pm #463116I’ve been listening to “m.A.A.d. city” by Kendrick Lamar lately. As for a type of rock genre, I’ve been listening to a lot of Alice In Chains. Like “Nutshell” and “Hollow”.
February 6, 2016 at 7:01 am #463136Disturbed – The Sound of Silence
February 6, 2016 at 10:58 am #463143After a ten year break, the Corrs are back together and just released a new studio album, “White Light”. Amazon didn’t have it as a digital download, so this is the first CD I’ve bought in about eight years. I had forgotten what it felt like to unwrap a CD…
