Twelve Days of Customs 2013 thread

Mostly the same as last year. Starting on Saturday, Dec. 13 and ending on Wednesday, Dec. 24, we’ll be announcing one exceptional song per day, to be released as a pack on the 25th.

As mentioned in the chat, if it fits the criteria I would like to do Fall Out Boy – My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Them Up). If I get the time and we need more stuff I could also always try and pop in a Daft Punk song as well considering those seems to be the ones I get the most downloads on
Hell yeah, count me in. I’m leaning towards Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here for my primary pick. No real clue on my secondary.
Again, don’t feel like you need to do a secondary, it’s a very optional…uh…option. Mostly it’s there to highlight random “personal” songs that don’t fit the theme otherwise. If we get three or more of them, I’ll group them into an “Author Picks” pack or something alongside the main Twelve Days pack.
I want to reserve a spot for sure, but I’m not sure what song to do yet, so I will let you know once I find that out.
I was thinking of doing “Comfortably Numb” by Pink Floyd for this, but if we’re aiming for one song per artist then I’ll most likely do “Sympathy for the Devil” by the Rolling Stones.

I may come up with a second song, depends on what all I can do.
I’d like to contribute All Falls Down by Kanye West. I feel like it’d be a nice way to balance out the genres.
I would like a spot for this pretty please. I mentioned in the Skype chat that I was interested in doing “5 Colours in Her Hair” by McFly although I want to make sure that this fits criteria. If it doesn’t then that’s fine.
Not going to say “yes” to anything yet b/c who knows what I’ll get done, but, this would be a good chance to maybe tag some big picks off the bounty board.
I’m strongly considering “Torn” by Natalie Imbruglia. I think its a good song for parties and 90s ftw.

I think both songs are famous enough to work if they’re supported by a personal backstory, but if they just happen to be your favorite songs I might ask you to release them outside of Twelve Days.
