What do you think about using “the n word” in a song? Does your opinion change depending on whether it’s used once or many times?
The song I’m thinking about does have a censored version, but it just mutes the word instead of replacing it with something else.
I’m a bit torn myself and wondering if anyone has an opinion.
If it’s used in a non-racist way (such as in the song “Fuck You” by Cee Lo Green, “Oh shit she’s a gold digger/Just thought you should know n****”), I would say it’s fine (I don’t type it out myself for that example because it isn’t being used in-game). I obviously would take offense of if it’s being used in a racist way (such as calling someone the “n word” because of the color of their skin). I would feel most rap or modern pop songs that use the word would be fine by my book (I’d probably rate them “M” if it were me authoring them, but still).
Can’t see the issue. It’s gonna have an M sticker, but a apart from that, we’ve seen songs glorifying underage sex, free speech goes a long way. We don’t have to like or agree with what we hear anyway.

If it’s a lyric, author it.
That’s how I feel about anything.
The community will quickly decide how well received the song will be.
