Hello everyone! I’m new to this forum and to rock band customs in general. I love what you guys are doing and am very impressed by the work put out on the database. The quality is identical to the real thing! I want to learn how to author songs in the near future but for now I had some requests of some bands that  have some amazing and fun songs that I’d like to see you guys create. I made sure that none of these songs are featured in your database or the RBN’s. I have short bios for the bands and song titles that I would love to see. The songs have links to the song so you can listen to them! Thank you so much in advance!

The Airborne Toxic Event – I saw you guys have their most popular song “Sometime Around Midnight” and I would love to see more from you guys. They’re multi-genred band but tend to be more alternative rock. Great band with very real lyrics. My top picks that I’d love to play would be Wishing Well, Changing, and Wrong.

    Albums

Self Titled “The Airborne Toxic Event”

       – Wishing Well – A song about running away, great build up with great lyrics

       – Papillon – Very upbeat song about not having yourself together, the lyricism and vocal sound                                awesomely reflect the tone

       – Missy –  A song about a girl moving to LA and finding love, strong build up to the outro

       – Innocence – One of the longer songs on the album with a strong build up, really showing off the                               violinists prowess. All bout losing one’s innocence.

    “All at Once”

       – Changing – One of their songs that made it on the radio. It’s about a couple and how they                                         changed throughout their relationship

       – The Graveyard Near The House – One of my personal favorites. An acoustic song about the                                                           beauty of love and life and the blurred lines of how the future will be.

    “Dope Machines”

       – Wrong – Most popular off this album which focused more on synthetic sounds mixed with rock.                                          Song about being wrong, probably all your life

       – California – About the band’s hometown and the struggles faced by people everyday

       – Time to be a Man – coming of age song about when you need to grow up and be a man for the                                           rest of your life. Great loud chorus

The Decemberists – I really had hoped this band would be featured on the database, but it has not yet. I would love for some of their songs to appear. The RBN only has one of their singles “Perfect Crime #2”. If you have not listened to the Decemberists before they are a very talented band with many genres ranging from hard rock to folk. They’ve been around for many years now and have multiple albums under their front man Colin Meloy. His lyricism has been one of the strong points focusing on poetic and artistic portraits and stories,  such as they ever popular “The Mariner’s Revenge Song.” For this band I’d love to play Make You Better, The Mariner’s Revenge Song, This Is Why We Fight, and the Island.

    Albums

“What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World”

       – Make You Better – The Most popular song off the album, great build up

       – A Beginning Song –  Recently made by rolling green here

    “The Tain”

       – The Tain (Parts 1 – 5) – A 20 minute epic with with hard rock and folk mixed to a story about Irish                                                                Myhtology

    “Picaresque”

       – The Mariners Revenge Song – Sounds straight out of Pirates of the Carribean, a story a bout a boy who                                                                gets revenge on his stepfather for the misdeads he did to his mother

       – 16 Military Wives – a look into America’s wars and the problems faced because of them

    “The King is Dead”

       – Calamity Song – A song about the end of the world, very upbeat folk sound

       – This is Why We Fight – A loud and strong folk/rock song about the meaning of war

“The Hazards of Love” Rock Opera

       – The Wanting Comes in Waves / Repaid – Great chorus and rock/opera sounds

       – The Rake’s Song – A song about a widower killing his children, great rock riffs

       – The Queen’s Rebuke / The Crossing – Almost a heavy metal sound as the back up singer shows off her                                                  skills/ sick guitar solo

    “The Crane Wife”

       – The Crane Wife 3 – a epilogue to the first Crane Wife, very upbeat rocking song

       – The Island – A Seriously awesome 12 minute Epic with many genres throughout.
