It’s that time again, boils, ghouls and everything in between! This year we promise to scare you even more than last year with a selection of frightening, monstrous and creepy tunes! Will you be able to stay up at night after wrecking your brain into madness and terror trying to decipher these mystic hints? Or will you succumb to insanity trying to solve them?
- This seasonal song by a deceased soft-rock artist gained unexpected popularity more than a decade after its release
- Needs more cowbell
- Sting probably enjoys this song
- A good old tune from a pioneer of his genre, as well as his mysterious backing band
- Stacking is all fun and games until it all drops
- This returning artist is interesting in that half of their work seems to translate really well to the game, while the other half is basically unchartable
- This is so Djent, bro, yet not Djent enough…
- The character described in this song is actually in the show it’s based on of all freaking things
- A classic from its genre, notably a genre that usually isn’t very spooky but this tune is haunted and creepy enough to fit the bill
- A new addition to a album that previously had at least 1 song represented in the game
- A band who’s name is one giant pun makes their game debut
Guess away! And remember, be sure to lock your doors and cover in fear, or there will be a evil creature waiting for you in the darkest corner of your house, ready to burn all your plastic instruments and then devour all your favorite songs! Mwhahahahah!

October 27, 2014 at 12:07 am #431704Hmmmm, well #2 is an obvious reference to “Don’t Fear the Reaper”, but that has to be a red herring since that’s an official release…
Maybe another scary BOC song?
October 27, 2014 at 12:46 am #431706The one before the last one may be Nature Trail To Hell because we have Eat It, and it is a very good Halloween/horror song (it was even on a Halloween album Hellbent for Halloween, which contains many songs related to the holiday).
Not to mention Al voiced a character called Cheese Sandwich on MLP (I only know that via Internet) which might be a clue to that tiny text.
October 27, 2014 at 4:04 am #431714AnonymousAs long as one of them is “This is Halloween”, I think I’ll be good. (Still am hoping for “Nightmare Night” by Forest Rain as well. That Halloween Metal Song would be fun to play on both drums and guitar).

That almost sounds like ? And the Mysterians – 96 Tears, but that just doesn’t strike me as a Halloween song.

Ghost Town – The Specials?

Good call, that sounds at least fairly likely. Great song, too.

October 27, 2014 at 6:09 pm #431739Could this weeks theme be trick or treat? maybe 5 highly requested songs 5 songs nobody wants w/ haloween theme?I like the Trick or Treat theme, but a better wording would be “5 Halloween themed songs (trick) and 5 highly requested other songs (treat)”.

October 27, 2014 at 11:16 pm #431755second to last might be something off the Nightmare Revisited album (This Is Halloween topping the charts)
Reason: A new addition to a album that previously had at least 1 song represented in the game.
never do they say that it’s a specific artist, in fact, that fact is avoided and as this is an album with various artists AND is Halloween themed…
Edit: Last one is maybe Creature Feature?
