I agree with Whiskey in the Jar and Scott Pilgrim. Whiskey has versions by Thin Lizzy, The Grateful Dead, and most recently, Metallica.
The last hint made me immediately think of Sweet Child o’ Mine, but that’s already released by C3. The next thought was the Dead Kennedy’s cover of Rawhide, but it was never a single, and their top single “Too drunk to Fuck” wouldn’t fit at all.
Oh man, I hope it’s Cheap Shop Theme from the Scott Pilgrim game. I love the guitar for that one.
Couple of hints, going a little in-between last week and the week before for challenge.
- Even though it’s not from the film, I’m in lesbians with this song.
- Despite its sweet title, this song isn’t.
- Covered by three early Rock Band acts, this tale of betrayal makes its debut with the most recent (and Grammy winning) version.
- With a bridge that seems to show that this band has no idea where anyone is, this band’s top-charting single would have made Blues Brothers a very, very different film…
Let me guess…
1. Lesbians? I think they’re trying to fool us with a distortion of Libyans. But what the fuck have they done for a movie?
2. Can be anything sweet… I’m going with Van Halen-The Ice Cream Man on this one.
3.Metallica-Whiskey In A Jar. Definetly
4.I’m guessing the original Rawhide theme but that’s a blatent guess.
