Oh hey guys, it’s another hint thread.
- A three-pack of tracks from a popular Rock Band act that has yet to make their C3 debut. Here are some song specific hints because that’s a fun thing to do:
> Spoiler Alert: The roles revert in the end.
> Simple is best.
> If Game of Thrones had a movie-style licenced soundtrack, this song would be on it, appropriate or not. - A single from an act previously featured on C3 that nearly bookended Rock Band’s timeline.
- The second single from this new-to-Rock Band act is best known for its iconic chorus, which was lifted wholesale from another song.
- If this song had been released before 9/11, would we have used the term “la note bleue”?
- This artist makes their C3 debut with two songs: an cool updated take on an RBN-released track and a hot new one!
- This electronica and chiptune project shares a name with a very well known black metal band. I wonder if this song was inspired by a violent experience at Kanye’s house?
Also NHL playoffs are a thing so BYE.
I have no idea… Plus one of the hints got me thinking on something I don’t want to think about honestly…

Green Day was the first thing to come to mind. Zero customs so far. I’m likely wrong.
The clue about nearly bookending means the band likely came at or near both the beginning and the end. Perusing the early days of DLC (and RB1 setlist) and the last DLC songs suggests it is one of these bands:
Red Hot Chili Peppers (RB1 and 5th to last week of DLC)
All-American Rejects (6th week of DLC and 5th to last)
Blink 182 (9th week of DLC and 5th to last)
There are a couple of other bands in the general vicinity, but unless I’m forgetting something, these 3 are the closest to “bookending.” If we get something from RHCP I really hope it is “Soul to Squeeze.” I’d also love “One More Sad Song” or whatever it is called by AAR and “Josie” by Blink 182.

Huh…maybe. You are right about them lacking a C3 release and they are indeed a popular RB band.And the song “King for a Day” could be appropriate to GoT.
Both Green Day and Red Hot Chilli Peppers would totally be awesome…
I really need to get a Green Day Rock Band code sometime! (Though I kinda already have three Green Day songs bought).
