November 7, 2013 at 2:05 am #408936I tried, I can barely make any sense of that, somebody else can have at it!
How does that NOT make sense to you? Or are you trying to get on my nerves purposely? Cause this is just making no sense to me…
Foo Fighters would most likely never make it to RBN. I think you’re confusing RBN with official RB DLC. RBN is for people who are looking to get their own content into RB. Official DLC is what Harmonix releases. This includes the Foo Fighters tracks. Hope this clears things up.

The difference is that Official DLC is charted and released by Harmonix for mostly big name artists, while RBN is charted and released by smaller authoring groups that are in no way associated with Harmonix and mostly release lesser known (or niche) acts. When saying RBN, people will be confused, so it’s better to just say DLC as that is a blanket term for both Official DLC and RBN DLC to avoid confusion.
November 7, 2013 at 11:47 am #408954Yeah, there’s a big difference between the two channels. RBN is DLC, but not all DLC is RBN, and the Foo Fighters tracks (of which we have eleventy billion) are not RBN tracks. The RB:Blitz tracks were released as regular DLC towards the end of Harmonix DLC’s run, but not RBN.
November 7, 2013 at 2:05 pm #408957The problem is that different people of different backgrounds don’t know everything you know.I recently met someone who had never, honestly, heard The Beatles…I then force-fed it to them for a few hours ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
That same moment of “wtf” you probably had at the above statement (but it’s true), is what some of us had when you said you didn’t know who Bill Joel or Ray Charles are, for example. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Yeah, I wasn’t being a dick, music is so individually specific obviously. Just really surprised. I think a lot of those names transcend what people listen to, not just “Big in the ’70s type artists.” Like I’ve probably listened to 1 Ray Charles song in my life intentionally, but he is a quite famous historical musician, like the level just below Elvis, The Beatles and Sinatra. I’d think almost everyone knows or has heard You Really Got Me and Lola but may never have heard of the Kinks.
November 9, 2013 at 9:21 pm #409077Am I the only one who’d love some solo Phil Collins in addition to Genesis? Against All Odds in particular.
Also, if I may mention some British artists – Status Quo, Robbie Williams, Spice Girls, Take That – all have sold tens of millions of albums and regularly sell/sold out stadiums & arenas in the UK and yet none of them have a single song in Rock Band.
November 9, 2013 at 9:53 pm #409078Spice Girls have one song in our database, and Robbie Williams has a song in one of the GH games that could be (relatively) easily converted ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

No, you are not alone. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I believe that Farottone said he was working on some Phil Collins in another thread a little while ago.

I don’t like studio Phil Collins :sob: Or better yet, I like him a lot better live. I’m still doing a couple Phil Collins songs though, yeah.
November 11, 2013 at 9:54 pm #409155the KinksWould love some Kinks. I’m Not Like Everybody Else would be cool. So would Village Green, Apeman, & a handful of other greats.
November 14, 2013 at 4:35 pm #409238Some already mentioned but I’d reiterate;
Neil Diamond
Genesis/Phil Collins
Garth Brooks
Rod Stewart
Prince
Tina Turner
John Mellencamp
Barry Manilow
