Is “Someone Like You” full multitrack? If there’s only Vox and Keys, you could probably combine the studio a capella with the instrumental version.
As farottone said, that’s a horrible idea. Studios don’t want you to recreate their song. So even if you get the full song from a CD and the official instrumental from that same CD (sometimes they provide them), they won’t match up. They typically speed up the instrumental by a very tiny amount that your ears won’t notice but will break the process.
That doesn’t mean you won’t see a multitrack version of this song, since it’s already been done the old fashioned way

I don’t post here much, but I just wanted to thank all of you guys for everything you do. I love this game, and the custom community has kept the fire alive, and kept the game going. I have been trying to make my own customs, and it’s hard! I have so much respect for the work that all of you put in to provide content week after week.
Now Wishmaster is coming out, and that is one song I’ve had on every rhythm game wishlist. You guys are awesome, and I hope that I can join you once I get the hang of making customs myself.

A lot of the karaoke versions come from an insane amount of time Nemo spent on separating them. True story.
Finally! A kick-ass Nightwish song (not that there’s anything wrong with Nemo). Thank you for authoring it. I hope you keep the awesome metal coming (loved Psalm 69 too).

I never played Guitar Hero. When I heard they made a new game with a whole band, I ran out and got an Xbox. And I sang. A bit too easy, maybe, but glorious. Then RBN came out, and I went nuts with authoring and playtesting hundreds of songs. Got a swell tattoo on my arm. Once the kidz figured out how to hack Xbox sticks, I started making customs.I still play every Friday night with the same crew from launch day. We’ll keep rocking until the last spare MIDI pro adapter dies.
Harmonies is my thing, and it’s hard to get better than these fine ladies. Happy holidays!

Also, didn’t get to post yesterday, but hooray for more Adele! Does anyone happen to have the custom of “Set Fire to the Rain”that I think was floating around? Is it capably authored? It’d be great to have a third of her songs.

I searched around online and all I could find is a version on ScoreHero from jdcow45 that only had vocals charted for that song. Here is a link to the page with that song and a lot of his other customs. I am not sure if the download links work below them or not though.

It’d be great to have a third of her songs.I might touch base with him to see about doing that one up around the time I revisit “Rolling in the Deep” (it needs some tuning on harmonies for sure and the keys are charted as patterns so the stuff that varies is not in there). Could be a good two-pack of FtV tracks.
