As long they will be release as individual downloads on the 25th as well… I’m good.

I will NOT download a pack!

When has C3 ever made a pack and forced you to download a pack only? Never

Anyways. Nemo, I don’t know much about ye’ but you are a cool person and you actually did helped me back when I was only on ScoreHero for customs. I remember ye’ linking me all the Xbox ISO stuff and all… Still have that PM, I think… Since you said you wont be around for next year, well I salute you then. Some people maybe sad about this but I am glad cause it can mean that you are going forward in your life and simply don’t have time for this type of work (Which pretty much happens to famous/grand modders of all kinds that are leaving). So I wish for de’ best in your life.

If you’re going to purposely misspell things can you at least be consistent? kthxbai

Nemo singlehandedly changed the way we do customs. He effectively ushered in a “2.0” customs era with 10+ minute songs, pro G/B Magma compatibility, original album art import and much more… He is a true first ballot RB customs Hall of Famer. It’s been a privilege for all customs authors to have him in the customs community and anybody who ever thought of making a custom song should salute Nemo and wish him the same success in life he achieved in the customs world.

Wow, that is something. It’s a good thing he was so well-compensated for doing it! Oh, wait…

Shocking to hear Nemo leaving C3. Its unbelievable the amount of work he has done with The Beatles Rock Band port to RB3, Le Fluffie, Magma, Custom song releases, troubleshooting, and much more. Were going to miss you Nemo. Thanks for all your contributions!

            #410652

TrojanNemo, your versions of Le Fluffie and Magma have revolutionized the customs world. Without your programming prowess, C3 would not be where it is today.

I completely agree with you on how Rock Band can change people’s perception on music. I would never have heard of Poni Hoax, Spacehog, That Handsome Devil, Rodrigo y Gabriela, The Flaming Lips, or any other number of my favourite bands if not for this amazing game.

Also, I want to personally thank you for the Beatles you brought to my RB3. I’m sure it will be a big hit at next week’s end-of-year Rock Band party!

Good luck doing what you’re doing, I’m certain you will go far in your life. Happy holidays from everyone here at C3!

Are ye’ trying to insult me’h accent and typing? That’s not very nice of ye’ to do, you know?

Thank you Nemo for all you have done for RB Customs! I am forever grateful for all your hard work on the Beatles RB Project and for everything else that you have contributed.

Good luck in the new phase of your life and with all you do!

Huge thanks to TrojanNemo for the awesome work he’s given us. I got pretty sad reading the post, but at the end of the day we can only be happy for what he’s given us and happy he’s doing what is best for him. So grateful to everyone in CCC for keeping my favorite game rocking!

Day 2 is brought to you by AddyMilldike!

Alright, here we are at the 2nd day of revealing our 12 song megapack. And today’s song would be mine. I chose Hey Baby with the thought that everyone should have some party songs in their library. I host Rock Band parties from time to time, and while rock, metal, prog, etc. is all great, sometimes we’d like to wind down with some recent Top 40 hits. Which is how Hey Baby came to be. It has always been a sort of guilty pleasure of mine, and I thought it would fit pretty well with Rock Band 3 due to the song’s excessive harmonies.

As for my history with Rock Band, it goes all the way back to Guitar Hero 2. I, like many other people, joined ScoreHero to attempt to make customs. Needless to say, back then I wasn’t very good, since I had no knowledge of what a tempo map was even. But I wanted to learn how to do this, so after a long time I eventually was able to join ThatAuthoringGroup for the Rock Band Network. While I was over there I actually learned a lot to become the author I am now (including tempo mapping! ). In my time over there, I would have to say my greatest achievement was Farewell, Mona Lisa on drums. Dillinger Escape Plan was by no means easy to author to.

Anyway, I hope when the pack gets released you will enjoy this song. I feel it is a nice contrast to the other songs coming up.

Check back tomorrow for day 3 of the Twelve Days of Customs!

(Remember, this is just a reveal; all twelve songs will be released in a megapack on December 25.)

Very excited about the Twelve Days of Customs!

Wow, Nemo – can’t believe you are leaving. I really can’t. You’re the man, you are awesome. Sincere thanks from me for everything.

Day 3 is brought to you by DVDSmith!

See the video reveal in the blog post!

Hello customs fans! My name is DVDSmith and I am the C3 authors’ resident Scotsman and resident Bon Jovi/Sonic fan. I’ve been playing video games since 1993, when I was given a Mega Drive with Sonic the Hedgehog for my fifth birthday. Twenty years later, I still have the Mega Drive, along with many many other consoles and games, and my obsession with the Blue Blur is as great as ever.

Ever since I was shown Guitar Hero II at a party back in 2006, I’ve been hooked on rhythm games. As someone who was fast becoming a huuuge fan of classic rock music (and who’d just been to their first ever rock concert that year – Bon Jovi at Hampden Park in Glasgow), it seemed like the greatest game ever, and the perfect merger of my two favourite things in life. Then Rock Band came along and I fell in love with the drums and it soon became my favourite instrument, although I still dabble in the rest from time to time.

Customs-wise, my first customs were for Guitar Hero II on PS2 back in 2008 (

if you want a laugh), but when full-band games came along I fell out of the customs game, just happily enjoying the weekly DLC and working my way through university. Now with DLC (and university) over, I’m back in the game. My first two customs were both Sonic the Hedgehog tracks for the Blue Blur’s 22nd anniversary, and then I collaborated with ws54 on August’s Shinedown 4-pack. I was also, perhaps unsurprisingly, the one who pitched the idea for (and contributed two tracks to) last month’s Music of Scotland pack. I hold regular Rock Band parties and C3’s customs have gone down a storm with my friends, with America Fuck Yeah, 500 Miles and Sweet Child o Mine being major singalong fodder.

So what can you expect from me? Well, my 12 Days custom is hopefully a sign of things to come. Bon Jovi are far and away my favourite band, and while I am grateful that Harmonix gave us 12 of their songs as RB3 DLC, there are so many more songs by them that I would love to see in Rock Band. And to start things off, here’s what was probably the biggest track missing from Harmonix’s 12-pack – “Always”, their best-selling single and a fan favourite. I hope you enjoy. And who knows, we might see some more Sonic the Hedgehog at some point too. Can’t get enough of that Crush 40.

So Merry Christmas, enjoy Always, and here’s to a happy and custom-heavy 2014!

Check back tomorrow for day 4 of the Twelve Days of Customs!

This is probably my favorite song from the pack. One I always liked but didn’t know was a Bon Jovi track. Imagine my surprise when recording the video :-)

Very happy on the release of “Always” I think you just made my other halfs Christmas!

Always wondered why this was never released, considering there is a fair amount of Bon Jovi already on the store.

Oh yes. I like me some good Bon Jovi! (Play the crap out of “You give love a bad name”).
