Amen. I would love to see the Blues Brothers OST make into RB one day. Some kind soul did their version of ‘Rawhide’ which is wonderful.
Somebody over in the WIP forum was working on “Everybody Needs Somebody To Love” a long time ago, but I think it fizzled out.

Not quite. You will see this and indeed more songs with Donald Duck Dunn (and Steve Cropper) in the future.

There is one other full band Blues Brothers custom that has been made. Maybe the author will one day be ready to pull the trigger and put it out there.

Ahh, good news, Jimi369 (and I apologize for forgetting your involvement).
“Soul Man” fixed up, too? Play it, Steve!

To whomever owns this BB custom…please consider sharing it at some point. “As-is” or “not up to C3 quality” isn’t ever damning indictment for most of the community here; we’re a pretty understanding bunch. We’d just love to be able to play and appreciate the awesome songs that you’ve spent time working on. Perhaps the community can even help fix up whatever you’d like to have fixed up. My mama always said “You don’t G-E-T unless you A-S-K”.
You can even consider it a “mission from God”, if you like. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

Whoever owns this custom is going to have to live with that custom out there with his name on it and might not wanna have a subpar song added to his catalogue, whoever that author is of course.
November 13, 2015 at 7:49 pm #459247Shout out to BearzUnlimited: the ‘Judy Blue Eyes Suite’ is a dream – another one of my absolute favourite bass tracks to play. I’d love to see more ‘Deja Vu’ CSN stuff in RB. ‘Long Time Gone’ would be lovely. Obviously the ‘OK Computer’ charts are great too.
So many great suggestions in here. Thank you all.

I think the author could soak up a ton of satisfaction knowing that people are having a blast playing it. I know our group has had tons of fun singing/playing it. It’s quite awesome, especially with a group.

No offence taken and yes, Soul Man as well. That Hey Steve/play it Steve mixup still stings when I think about it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
November 14, 2015 at 12:46 am #459256Thanks for the suggestions so far. Some stuff I know, some I don’t so I’ll give these a go. More suggestions please!
Three that I love playing are ‘Englishman In New York’ by Sting, ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ by Crowded House and ‘Drive Home’ by Steven Wilson. There are more too. Loads of REM ones are wonderful.
Where do you find Crowded House at?
