So, about a week after learning how to do conversions, I’ve put together most of Rings of Saturn’s Embryonic Anomaly album. I couldn’t get the title track so it’s missing one song, but I’m happy with the rest of it. Enjoy and feel free to critique my work. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I don’t really plan on doing weekly releases, but whenever I’m not busy with work or life I’ll put out an albums worth of conversions from random bands I enjoy.
All of these songs are originally fretted by Angevil

Edit – Refer to Beard’s version. It’s more complete/better than the conversion I did.

September 20, 2015 at 4:24 am #455424Finally some Rings of Saturn songs!! If only they were Full Band. It’s still Awesome!
September 20, 2015 at 6:53 am #455432Thanks for converting Lunar Wilderness.
But a couple things. My friend tried it on his RB3, and there were a few sync problems.
The notes didn’t match up to beat line. The notes themselves were on time with the music, but they are not on the lines. Then it gets off sync about half way through.
My charts always have nearly perfect, if not completely perfect sync, so I don’t know what you did to mess it up.
Also, wheres the rest of the instruments? The Bass, Drums, and Keys?
Just letting you know, I wouldn’t be surprised if Beard216 did a proper conversion of this, since he converts lots of my charts anyways.

I’ve noticed when I give my reaper created chart to guys using FOF their are always sync errors that occur and vice versa. I don’t know why but it happens. You should though recognize this and make the necessary adjustments when converting.

I did not but I was tomorrow. I’m gonna do it anyways because the one I have is G/B/D/K.

This is not the right attitude to go about it. This user is devoling HIS time to give this community more content. You are not, you are not working on RB3 content, so without him any user of this community would not be able to enjoy any song you work on. You are more than welcome to talk to any of the guys who take it upon themselves to spend time on converting songs without asking for anything in return and work with them so that your content is converted as best as it can be. However, don’t take anything for granted please when it’s other people’s time involved.
Finally, I opened one of your projects and you’re using spikes in the tempo to make the time signatures fit. That is an issue when converting using a professional program like Reaper, it leaves you with inaccurate tempo anyway and if the spikes are over 300 BPM they force whoever is converting the song to rechart the measure entirely and reposition the rest of the chart.

I didn’t mean to sound rude, and I apologize for that. I was just trying to let him know that there were problems with it.
And as for the Tempo spikes. I chart with EOF and it doesn’t support x/8 time signatures, so that’s an issue. I have a fix to get around this, as shown in beard216’s convert of “Famine Wolf”. But I didn’t think of it until WAY after I charted “Lunar Wilderness”, so it doesn’t have the fix.
