Running in the 90’s and Deja Vu would be SICK to play
July 4, 2017 at 4:01 am #487271AJFOne and/or MissingElements are working on that
Good to hear. If they are close and only need vox/harms, I can probably find some time to contribute.

T.Rex – Metal GuruJuly 4, 2017 at 8:36 pm #487318Yeah it’d be real nice to have some sort of request list where each user gets to vote for like 5 or 10 songs (like how they did with the Rock Band Blitz Facebook app) so that we can see which are the most requested. That would probably make it more likely that the top requested songs would get charted.
I know it’s not practical or possible but a bounty system would have been cool. Like someone requests a song and puts a dollar in a metaphoric paypal jar, and then others who also want that song add some pocket change too, and then the higher the pot, the more likely someone makes the chart to collect. That way the charters get paid for their work. But of course, there is always the problem of the chart meeting proper standards or what to do if multiple people worked on it.

And there’s always the problem of that being against the forum rules.
But it would be cool to have a requests widget like the one Harmonix had when RB4 was announced. Except it also displays the requested songs rather than just a submission box.

Well the idea could still work. You see, they wouldn’t be dollars and cents of money, they’d be metaphorical dollars and cents of the love and adulation of your fellow C3 forumgoers, all wrapped up into a nice $2 valentine’s day heart box from the local craft store! Surely that would be worthwhile incentive to chart the latest and greatest Avenged Sevenfold album in full
On a more serious note, I do remember ye olde C3 Show Floor having a “bounty board” system with a list of generally popular songs, but that subforum’s no longer accessible and I don’t remember anything about how that actually worked aside from being a list.
It would be cool to have numbers for requests instead of just guessing based on how many times you noticed a particular song/artist show up in a request thread, though.

It’s actually still on the wiki. The forum link’s broken, though.
