I found that my songs.dta was adding an extra ) in between the same spot every time I add a new song — underneath vicarious2x and above waxsimulacratmvv6

I have to manually edit the songs.dta and remove one of the ) or none of the songs will appear below it.
I am adding individual songs completely unrelated to either of these two songs.

Does every song reprocess when a new song is added? Does this mean that vicarious2x has an extra ) in its metadata, and I should delete that song to prevent it?

Are you adding songs to a pack using the C3 CON Tools pack creator? If that’s the case, and you’ve isolated the problem to a specific song, then odds are that song does have a DTA issue that needs to be fixed. It wouldn’t be the first time.
