Hey,

First of all thanks everyone for your great work.

I play very enthusiastically, wish I could help with the charting but I kinda suck at it… however I do know a lot of music, so I thought I’ll post some requests of some great songs. I chose songs which will be great to play too.

Springsteen – such an awesome musician and so many songs missing!

Rocking classics: Thunder Road, Badlands, Promised Land all weren’t charted yet!

Epics: Backstreets and Jungleland are some of the best songs of all time, and would both be keys heaven and great all around.

Also lesser known but brilliant: Lost in the Flood (live version especially), Incident on 57th Street, Candy’s Room, Adam Raised a Cain, Roulette. And a full band Rosalita!

Neil Young – my other favorite musician.

Down by the River and Cowgirl in the Sand will be guitar solo heaven.

Tonight’s the Night, Powderfinger, Like a Hurricane, Cinnamon Girl, will also be amazing!

    Other great songs:

David Bowie – Heroes (Can’t believe nobody charted this yet!), Station to Station

Tom Waits – Hoist that Rag

Pretty much anything from Nick Cave

The National – amazing band and drum heaven! Recommended songs: Terrible Love, The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness, Conversation 16, Fake Empire, Apartment Story, England.

Elvis Costello – Beyond Belief, Lipstick Vogue, No Action, I Don’t Want to Go To Chelsea.

Wilco – I’m the Man Who Loves You, Impossible Germany (That guitar solo!), I Am Trying to Break Your Heart, Heavy Metal Drummer.

Suede – Trash, Animal Nitrate, The Drowners, New Generation, The Beautiful Ones, The Asphalt World.

Arcade Fire – Tunnels, Wake Up, No Cars Go.

    Thanks everyone!

I release Asbury Park (Sandy) a few months back. I have most of the first 2 albums on my to do list.

I might do Heroes at some point.

Also, all those Springsteen requests and no Dancing in the Dark?!

Great request list, but i think David bowie – Heroes is official DLC ( but is “famous by”).

has a cover of this song by The wallflowers on database.

Yeah, I absolutely love your version of Sandy! Play it all the time. Thanks!

May I ask, why the first two albums? I mean, most fans will agree the ‘holy trinity’ is Wild&Innocent-Born to Run-Darkness (and maybe Nebraska, but it doesn’t really fit Rock Band), so doing the first album and stopping right at his best ones is a curious choice. We need Backstreets!

Although of course, I’ll take any Springsteen I can get…

    Please do Heroes!

And yes, DITD is a bit of an obvious choice, but I don’t think it’s as good as the other tunes. Also it doesn’t seem amazing on any instrument (other than vocals) – pretty repetitive all around – and Born in the USA album seems to be pretty well represented already.

Yeah I know, but Heroes is one of the greatest songs ever for me, I just find this cover really unsatisfying

Because I’m a drummer and once they got rid of Vinnie Mad Dog Lopez the dynamic of the band was never as interesting to me. I love Bruce songs after this but I’m not going to take the time to chart songs that aren’t as interesting for me to play.

Oh well, fair enough. Personally I think Weinberg is ten times the drummer Lopez will ever be (I think his straight forward, ‘in your face’ approach fits the music perfectly, while Lopez is too busy and all over the place), but I can deny Lopez makes for more entertaining charts! Anyway, I’ll take any Bruce I can get, and if you do Incident on 57th Street I’ll be forever grateful

Have you heard the Hammersmith 75 live record? Some pretty complex drumming there from Weinberg. The version of Lost in the Flood is much better than the studio one IMO.

That one is done on drums. Whether it becomes full band depends on kind souls doing guitar since that’s the one instrument I can’t do.

As for Weinberg you’ll never sell me on him. It’s a difference in taste. I prefer jazzy style playing and some prefer AC/DC beats.

Yeah sure it’s all taste. I just think it works better with the directness and anthemic style of Bruce songs. Weinberg is actually a really capable drummer (shows it mainly live), but much like everyone else in the band, he takes the back seat and let Bruce and the music shine.

I’m pretty sure that MrPrezident has hinted at some Neil Young being included in his upcoming Canada 150 #5 setlist.

Springsteen recently lost a Nun/Syg vote-off, so I wouldn’t count on seeing him again for a bit.

I may be releasing a Springsteen with stems later, but not any of the ones requested here.

1979 by Good Charlotte please. All instruments charted if possible. It’s my favourite off the Cardiology album and it’s one Good Charlotte song that has not been a custom OR DLC yet. Thanks in advance.
