Hey, I’m back to working on my first custom this weekend. Everything is already running fine via audition mode, with the exception of this:

Even though done OK in Reaper, some parts of the lyrics don’t show up when testing the song via audition mode. They are all done the same way in Reaper, I charted the notes, marked everything and imported the lyrics via Shift+L. They are all “lyrics” (not other text events or so) and there is nothing missing in reaper, every note has it’s syllable.

I had this previously as well, but I thought it was due to it not being done properly (I just pasted some words into one note for testing).

The missing words are in the middle of the song, the next line has the lyrics again, then a few are missing again…

I bring it through Magma just fine, so what could that be?

I played around with it a bit earlier and changed it to words and talkies only, but when I audition it it’s the same as before.

(This is obviously a very “bad” custom, partially by design. It’s not actually gonna be for me but for my “medium only” group of friends. Figured I don’t need pitches…)

      Anyway here’s the RPP:

You can only have one syllable per note tube. You have more than one WORD per note tube, and that’s why they’re not showing up in game. Because after the first space where the words separate, it should break, since that’s not how it’s designed to work in game.

“bits of#” = bits# of# with TWO tubes, not one

        “all around#” = all# a-# round# with THREE tubes, not one.

        etc.

Oh man, lol. I could have figured that out I guess. It’s odd though since in the first two phrases I do have that as well, and it shows up fine in the game.

Well I anyway planned to do it properly in the future, so why not start now.. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
