Slapping in Pro Bass?

First of all, I need to say I never actually played pro bass, so this might be a dumb question.
Does the RB3 Pro Bass “recognize” the slapping technique?
If it does, how do I do it in REAPER?
If it doesn’t, is there a workaround for this or do I just leave it out/leave pro bass out?
Not a supported technique in game. Even if the game modified the display of such notes to indicate slap technique, the pro guitar controllers couldn’t detect it anyway. You might be able to insert chord name text events to tell the player when to slap single notes, but it’s hard to determine how well that would actually work/look in practice. Otherwise you could just author the notes normally and rely on the user to determine when to slap notes.
