Blue Oyster Cult – Take Me Away (single-track) – G B D V

 

Huge Blue Oyster Cult fan here… and while I’m not a fan of this song (hell, I didn’t remember it existed) or the album, I’ve gotta respect you for going with such a relatively obscure track. When I glanced at The Revolution By Night’s track listing, the only song I even recognized from that album is Shooting Shark because they’ve frequently played it live.

 

My point is: more power to you! I think after Fire of Unknown Origin, the band released only a few more great songs (Harvest Moon and Dance on Stilts in particular). Nonetheless, I look forward to playing this (except that guitar solo… ouch!) and if you ever need someone to contribute vocals for a BOC song, I might be interested… send me a PM to find out ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
