Any reason why you aren’t using CAT tools for reductions on your customs so people who can’t play on expert can enjoy them too? Thanks for releasing them regardless!

Thanks for releasing them regardless!Mainly due to me staying on Reaper 3.78. I’ve read that some authors have had problems when switching to a 4.xx version of Reaper. As far as I know the CAT tools dont work on Reaper 3.78. Also, I only play on expert and will never touch the lower difficulties regardless of how difficult the chart is for me.
@Oscarj08 Looking forward to more Rush. I will be happy to help convert them.
May 8, 2014 at 12:52 am #419724Funny thing is that I heard this song on the radio the other day and then I saw it in Oscarj08’s thread and said. Lets do it! Authored by Oscarj08 and then I converted it to RB3 and added overdrive and drum fills.

You can install both – I do. I stick with 3.78 for authoring, and switch to 4.x when I want to run CAT or the checker.
May 8, 2014 at 1:19 am #419727hey thanks for zz top, Deguello is one of my favorite albums off zz top, i wanted to do some Tejas & Eliminator stuff too, but i want to finish Rio Grande Mud first
PD: have you seen the drum chart of “heard it on the x” is a little bit tricky and hard.

No but I’ll take a look at it.

Do you have both installed? or do you have to reinstall 3.78 each time, I am also reluctant to upgrade from 3.78
May 8, 2014 at 3:34 am #419735Maybe you have to do a custom install with the second version of Reaper. Two separate folders on the same hard drive? Inquiring minds would like to know.

There is a portable install check box available for 4.22 during installation, I installed it on my external hard drive. Both versions work but have to install plugins etc for 4.22

May 10, 2014 at 4:39 pm #419944UPDATE: I figured out what I was doing wrong with the tempo map on my converts. I have gone back and fixed my previous songs. Cheap Sunglasses, Here Again, What Your Doing, and Echoes(of which was the worst offender) are all at V2 now. The V2 cons are located on the first page. The rest of the Rush songs from their debut album are finished. Like the others I have put in overdrive and drum fills. I also went ahead and did “In the Mood” which was previously done by Floydian and added overdrive and drum fills. Thanks again to Oscarj08 for charting the rest of this album. Caress of Steel is coming up next.

May 10, 2014 at 5:38 pm #419949thank you for these. love rush & caress of steel. hope we have them with more instruments later xd
i created the folder of the full album (excluding working man vault edition of course): https://www.mediafire.com/#2rg6ox1pd6830
May 10, 2014 at 5:44 pm #419950Good thing I looked in the C3 database because I was about to do Bastille Day which was already done and full band.
If I do chart vocals on any of the Rush debut album songs then the first would be “What Your Doing”. Probably my favorite song on the album next to Working Man.
