I’m finishing the Saint Cecilia EP and currently working in vocals from “Savior Breath” but I have a doubt about lyrics in outro chorus:

 

The lyrics I’m using in other chorus are:

 

Sweet as torture at least we were alive

Cringe and burn, now mark my words and

Save your breath

But, when I reached the section in 2:35 the following lines didn’t make sense for me:

Sweet as torture now mark my words and

Save your breath

The outro chorus sounds a little bit different and seems like another word is used instead of “torture“, or maybe the lyrics are totally wrong…

Which lyrics should I use in that outro chorus? (again, from 2:35)

Sounds like torture, it’s just very rushed when sung here and kind of smashed into the next word.

So, I’ll stick with those lines and finish the song!
