Your songs rock Ruck. My fav band is Kings of Leon. I know they became big over there where you are before North America. So I am hoping for more of them. Oasis and Snow Patrol and others of yours are fun as hell to play and my friends love it. Fans and Black Thumbnail would be awesome and Radioactive. I wish you lived closer as I would buy you a few beers for all your hard work. I hope you can sneak in some time for more kol. As the fans chant….we want bogers…we want bogers…lol

I wish I had the time to do some more. Although I should maybe be careful what I wish for, because the rate my course is going, I won’t be able to finish it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” /> I knew teaching was going to be hard but it turns out it’s even harder than I expected!

 

But anyway, customs are high on my priority list for any spare time I get, so this thread will be first to know if/when that happens ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

So, for those of you who are interested, I have a bit of an update. As some of you know, I’ve been training how to be a teacher since September and have had no time for making customs.

 

Unfortunately, my course has not been going well at all. I failed one of my school placements and went into a bit of a negative spiral, and ended up being signed off with depression a few weeks ago, for the time being at least.

 

For a whole host of reasons, this completely sucks, and the last few weeks and months have been really, really tough. But there is a silver lining to this cloud – I have some time at the moment to do some customs again. I’m really out of practice seeing as I haven’t done any since around August (apart from a brief drum stint for the End of Days) but as of this afternoon I have resumed ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I’m planning a pack at the moment and will hopefully get some customs up and released in the next few days. This is all subject to change depending on how rusty I end up being with it, but fingers crossed ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Ruck – sorry to hear that. If experience has taught me anything, it’s that one placement exam isn’t the end of the world, nor should it dash your dreams if teaching is something that you really, really want to do. Remember what Chumbawamba says…

Hey, man. I hate to hear what you’ve been going through. Keep fighting and pursuing the things that drive you. I know these customs take a lot of effort and your contributions here demonstrate your ability to commit to and wildly succeed at something you love.
