August 4, 2015 at 4:11 pm #452058Just stumbled across your customs Mr Bog… my goodness so many gems in here. Top man ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
August 4, 2015 at 4:25 pm #452059Lovely seeing someone chart some Junior Senior. They’ve got a handful of songs I’d love to play (mostly for singing), especially off of their second album. A shame they split.
August 5, 2015 at 6:02 pm #452117I’m going away for a university reunion weekend tomorrow night, so won’t be releasing any new customs during that time. Got some songs on the go now though, and will hopefully have some ready to release before I go tomorrow ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> so, here are some hints! Got a 3-pack and a single lined up.
UK TV Themes 3-Pack
Got three songs lined up that have been used as theme songs on UK TV shows, so the hints are about the shows as well as the songs themselves. Note that although the shows are British, the songs aren’t necessarily!
1) This show featured brilliant reviews and features about all sorts of other TV shows. One of the features starred the presenter’s future-wife. The song also featured prominently in an also-brilliant post-apocalyptic film released in the early 2000s.
2) This hilarious teen comedy is ostensibly about being the new kid at school, but led to so much more than that, with varying degrees of cringeworthiness. The show was re-made in the US and was, by all accounts, absolutely awful.
3) This comedy follows a working class family in their day-to-day home life. One of the actors went on to have a lead role in a youth-oriented comedy. The song was a B-side to this band’s first non-album single.
Single
4) This is the title track from this Washington post-hardcore band’s debut EP. Before you start thinking that could be any number of songs, bear in mind I might not be referring to DC.
August 5, 2015 at 9:07 pm #4521262 – Morning Runner – Gone Up in Flames (the inbetweeners)
3 – Oasis – Half the world away (Royle Family)

August 6, 2015 at 10:18 am #452151song hint number 2 is i think the inbetweeners theme song (i can’t remember the name of the song)
August 6, 2015 at 2:27 pm #4521682 – Morning Runner – Gone Up in Flames (the inbetweeners)3 – Oasis – Half the world away (Royle Family)
Well done RBPUK, three out of three! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
NEW – 6th August
TV Themes 3-Pack
Grandaddy – A.M. 180
(Theme from Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe)
Morning Runner – Gone Up in Flames
(Theme from The Inbetweeners)
Oasis – Half the World Away
(Theme from The Royle Family)
Here are three brilliant songs that were used as theme tunes for TV shows here in the UK. I’ve loved all of these songs for a long time, and they’re great fun to play ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> biggest surprise of this pack is the bassline in Gone Up in Flames – challenging and fun in equal measure ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
You might not know the shows, but check out the songs as they’re all great. You may also recognise A.M. 180 from the soundtrack to 28 Days Later.
Single
yourcodenameis:milo – All Roads to Fault
Now for something completely different – the first track from Washington band yourcodenameis:milo’s debut EP (that’s Washington in north-east England). I first heard of this band when I saw them supporting Muse in 2003 and was astounded by them. If you like post-hardcore math-rock type stuff, then I strongly urge you to give them a listen. Check out the video for this song here. Crunchy guitars, shouting vocals, changing time signatures and the best slow-down-and-speed-up in a song ever – what’s not to love?
Enjoy ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
UPDATED – 6th August
Junior Senior – Move Your Feet
HUGE thanks to Ultimate_MANG0 who has created some lighting and camera cues for this custom – it looks absolutely amazing! VERY highly recommended for (re-)downloading. Enjoy ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
