July 24, 2015 at 6:13 am #451039Man your customs are awesome keep up the great work and dedication! Did I see that your from London and into indie bands? Have u heard of a band called Dogs before..they had a popular song in one of the fifa games few years ago now called tuned to a different station? Sadly they aren’t together as Dogs now but if u ever had time to chart something random that would be immenseThanks ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> well, I’m not from London (I’m about 350 miles away!) but I do love indie bands and I have heard of Dogs – I love the album that track is on. I will definitely keep it in mind but, to explain my situation at the moment, I’m going back to university in September and will have no time at all for making customs, so using the summer to get through as many on my list as possible!
But I’ll keep Dogs in mind and I’ll see how the time goes ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Really pleased to hear it! Final Straw is their best in my opinion but all the others are well worth a listen still, especially their first two ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Thanks again everyone for the comments! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

July 24, 2015 at 11:45 am #451054Thanks for the Cribs track. I really enjoy that song, and it should be a lot of fun to play. Appreciate all your hard work!
July 24, 2015 at 3:06 pm #451069Thanks for Chasing Cars. Full band and all difficulties too! A+
July 24, 2015 at 7:10 pm #451102Thanks alot for Chasing Cars!!! whenever a Snow Patrol song show up i was hoping it would be this one. Sorry for my lack of knowledge for the band, but basically i get into this songs via mainstream and rock band, therefore as a result of the full album Final Straw i now get a little more exposed to Snow Patrol.
I guess you have already a list of songs you are working on or plan to work on, but just in case, would love if you can consider Kings of Leon – Use Somebody? Long overdue for RB.
Again thanks for your customs, thanks to your help the wish list is getting smaller ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Saludos!
July 24, 2015 at 9:32 pm #451113Thanks for these.
July 25, 2015 at 7:58 am #451138Hell yes Chasing cars! I dont know any other snow patrol songs besides whats been on rockband/gh but I got all of them ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> Though I have a question. As odd as it may be, if Casing cars has dryvox in it (havent played them as of yet) Could I do a venue for it if you havent done so? I really enjoy doing venues for songs I like haha

Long overdue for RB.I do love that song, so I’ll keep it in mind, although I do indeed have a (pretty big) list of songs I want to try and do before September. If I get time I’ll give it a go ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

July 25, 2015 at 5:13 pm #451167NEW – 25th July
Before I introduce today’s new customs, I just wanted to say a few words about this thread. Firstly, thanks to this whole community for making customs possible for everyone to enjoy and create – in the months since I’ve found C3 I’ve spent as much time as I can playing and creating customs and it’s been great fun ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
You may have noticed I’ve been uploading customs a lot more regularly now. There are a few reasons for this. Firstly, I’ve decided to be a bit less picky about certain aspects of my customs. I was spending a couple of hours doing Guitar, Bass and Drums, another hour or so on Pro Keys, but then spending the same amount of time again perfecting vocal tubes when, more often than not, if they’re *nearly* right, there’s no obvious difference in the game anyway. This means I can create and share customs more often ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
More importantly, I’m returning to university after a five-year gap in September. I’m going to start teacher training and will have no spare time at all – I’m even becoming a bit concerned about when I’ll have time to play RB4! But it does mean that I’m going to use as much of the summer as possible for getting through a lot of the customs I still want to make. Everything I make will be going straight here rather than on the Show Board.
So, basically, for the next few weeks I’ll hopefully be sharing more and more songs, but please keep in mind, they might not be completely perfect ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> thanks so much to everyone who’s commented on my customs, it’s great to know they’re being enjoyed ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Anyway, that’s enough of me rabbiting on, let’s have some more customs ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Rage Against the Machine – Bullet in the Head (1x Bass Pedal)
Rage Against the Machine – Bullet in the Head (2x Bass Pedal)
First up today is my favourite song by Rage Against the Machine, Bullet in the Head, from their 1992 debut album. I started this custom months ago but got a bit stuck with the drum part, but after a determined charting session I think it’s okay now. Some parts of the song seem to have a slightly swung beat which might not be done completely accurately, but it should be playable ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Death Cab for Cutie – Steadier Footing
Death Cab for Cutie – A Movie Script Ending
Next up, the first two tracks from Death Cab for Cutie’s third full-length effort, 2001’s The Photo Album. This album is, on some days, my favourite of theirs. I’m hoping to chart the whole thing eventually, but thought I’d share these now. A Movie Script Ending is one of the band’s best songs and if you fancy sampling some Death Cab, I’d strongly recommend starting there.
Cold War Kids – Hang Me Up to Dry
Finally today is Hang Me Up to Dry by Cold War Kids, previously featured on Band Hero. I don’t know what counts as a conversion by C3 standards, but I’m not saying this is one because I’ve charted everything from scratch (apart from the vocals which I took from stampface’s thread – thank you very much to them for the Vocal part and the stems for this track ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />).
Look out here for a Keys part where I’ve tried to accurately transcribe random notes being mashed on a piano. If anyone sightread FCs the expert Pro Keys part on this track, I will buy you a drink ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
That’s it for today, I’ll be back with more as soon as possible – enjoy ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
July 25, 2015 at 5:31 pm #451168Awesome to see “Bullet in the Head”. I don’t think that song has double bass. The double kicks at the end of the song can easy be achieved with one foot pedal.

The double kicks at the end of the song can easy be achieved with one foot pedal.I struggled with trying to decide – it’s only towards the very end where I think there are a couple of extra hits that wouldn’t be possible on a single pedal, not on a RB drum kit anyway. I think it was probably single pedal on the original recording though.
Of course, one can download the 2x version and play it with a single pedal anyway if they like ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
