in regards to your profile pic, any plans for Sigur Ros songs?I’d like to at some point but between the Icelandic/Hopelandic lyrics, bowed guitar and frequently buried keys, it would be a long project. But I might give some a go at some point

Final Straw is one of my favourite albums ever – so, why not bring it to Rock Band?

– I’m using the original 2003 version of the album. It was re-released in 2004 with some differences to some of the tracks, most notably Spitting Games and Chocolate. I always preferred the originals so that’s what I’ve used. This also means I’m not planning on doing the bonus tracks from the 2004 version, but I might do at a later stage.
– These customs will not be perfect! I’ve worked on them quite quickly – I wouldn’t say I’ve rushed them, but they will not be quite as polished as some of my other customs. I’ve playtested them all though and I think they’re fine on all instruments, nothing obviously wrong in game
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />– Some of the tracks have a few overdubbed guitar and percussion parts, so depending on which part your ears tune into, the charts might not seem entirely perfect. The truth is that it would be impossible to play everything you hear at once, so I’ve made calls on what to prioritise.
– Keyboard parts are split variously between strings, glockenspiel, piano and organ. Some of the strings are quite buried (e.g. in Run), so the parts are approximations of what might be being played.
When I’ve done the rest of the tracks, I’ll create a 12-song pack for the whole album. Any feedback is encouraged so I can make fixes before then if necessary
