Obviously he’s not serious. “Cinematic” needs 24 FPS.
I’m all for GH to come back. More games to play. Bring it on.

I dunno. I have mixed feelings. I want the genre to succeed. But, GH never played quite right for me compared to RB, and its silly exclusivity licenses mean I don’t get some artists I like in RB.
Plus I hate having to switch discs to play certain songs ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
So they posted this tweet:

“Everyone on the RB4 team is in a band that meets regularly to test new features. As you can see, it is grueling work.”
Interesting how they’re “testing” with old (Xbox 360?) hardware.
So either 1) they’re playing on a PC development version of RB4 with adapters to use the old hardware, or
2) they already have working adapters for the old hardware and are testing on a console build of RB4, or
3) they’re just faking it for a photo op.
Also notable mentions…no harmonies and pro drums to be seen in the picture. Deliberate or accidental?
3) they’re just faking it for a photo op.
True playtesting is just brutal. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
Well, to be clear, I don’t mean they’re not playtesting in general. I’m saying the picture itself is just a shitty photo op on their part. True testing of the new game should show at least prototypes of the new instruments. But there is nothing to tell us in this picture that it isn’t just them either faking it or playing RB3.
They actually responded to me on Twitter – a first:
Dev kit with compatible RB3 era hardware. The plan is for RB4 to work with old instruments! More info soon.
You got a reply to your reply in fact. More good news for harmonies? Or just a reconfirm of pro drums? Hmm…
