September 9, 2013 at 12:06 pm #405898Brad Sucks – announced Nov 22 2009If it helps, the freeware game Phase Shift actually has a few songs from Brad Sucks – with seperated stems too.
One thing that got to me was RBN related. There was an RBN author by the name of Askari Nari who had a bunch of amazing work lined up (He even got Venetian Snares!) but after a bunch of personal trouble…he just disappeared. He even shut his Bandcamp account down, with all his music.
September 9, 2013 at 3:39 pm #405914Ah yes, so much missed RBN potential… if I remember right I even think someone were planing to do Buckethead at one point but they just disappeared after the announcement.

September 9, 2013 at 6:02 pm #405924RBN was supposed to get all of Alien Ant Farm’s ANThology album. We got Movies and Courage, I really wanted Wish.

Exactly, especially since he got one of my all time favorite solo artists who actually showed interest after trying to get them in the game for so long.
RBN was supposed to get all of Alien Ant Farm’s ANThology album. We got Movies and Courage, I really wanted Wish. What happened after that? It was just those two songs, then it suddenly went all downhill. Who was the author again?
September 10, 2013 at 5:28 pm #405992There was some more Umprhey’s McGee in testing as well. Miss Tinkle’s Overture was a blast, but never made it through too much testing. I wish I still had the file. I assume we’d be able to convert to a .con and play it now if I still had it?
September 12, 2013 at 12:19 pm #406055There was a ton of stuff that fell through the cracks as far as RBN goes. Venetian Snares, and Celldweller are the ones that really hurt.
September 12, 2013 at 1:17 pm #406059Billy Idol – Dancing With Myself. If only I’d kept that rbs file.
September 12, 2013 at 2:32 pm #406070Biggest letdown by far was that Sub Pop was supposed to support rbn with at least one thing from their entire catalogue of artists. We had one burst of songs from them with sunny day real estate, sleater-kinney, and the shins, but there were some potential to get some great songs and artists from them if they kept going.

I remember something about Smashing Pumpkins too.
Oh, & of course all of “Who’s Next” through the full album releases. Even though that was just “used as an example” as they put it.
September 15, 2013 at 11:43 am #406252iirc the issue with “Who’s Next” was missing masters, which is why we got the best-of pack instead.
September 15, 2013 at 6:02 pm #406272I was seriously stoked for the Pearl Jam live project. Not just because I love Pearl Jam – but those live tracks of theirs are some of the most fun I’ve had drumming in Rock Band.
Honestly, I’d prefer studio stuff, but live would have been insanely fun. While we have what feels like a crap ton of Pearl Jam, it’s really unbalanced, neglecting a lot of their awesome stuff from Vs, Vitalogy, and Yield.
It’s kind of the same way I feel about the Pixies – rather than a single full album, I’d have preferred a 12 pack best-of mixing singles and deeper cuts from across their career.
