I haven’t seen much on this here so I figured I’d make a ‘recent’ thread about it.
Calibration is fine at my own house but next friday I’ll be going over to a friend’s house bringing RB 3 over and the last time I did there was an intense amount of lag here’s the setup from what I remember
My Xbox 360 connected through HDMI to the Audio/Video Receiver that is then connected to the TV
she has a Sharp TV but I’m unaware if there is any Game Mode/Smooth Motioning settings but I’ll no doubt check next friday
Any tips to get decent calibration? have you had trouble with calibration lag before?
1) Do not connect through an A/V system. That only introduces lag.
2) If you’re connecting via HDMI, I would suggest you get the adapter that lets you do HDMI for video and gives you optical and RCA for audio. Then connect the audio feed directly to the sound system, and disable all post processing there to reduce audio lag.
3) Research the TV and find if it has a game mode, and if so, enable it.
4) Disable dolby in game.
Here is a useful guide to calibrating your game
Fantastic thank you both for the advice I will jot it down and try them out ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
