So yeah, I feel I am sort of done with the whole custom thing at this point, at least for now. The constant pressure, stress and everything with it just don’t feel worth it anymore. It used to be about making a already fun game even more fun and getting a break from reality and learning about music in the process, now it just feels like a rat race to me.
I am unsure what I will do with the remaining work I have, maybe I’ll come back to it someday, though if so it will be released outside of official C3 releases if so most likely. Just have too much stress in my life with heavy depression and other terrible things and I need to take a break from everything until I can sort it all out.
If this explanation is not enough, I can explain more on Skype if necessary. Rather not talk about the details too much in semi-public.
See you all around.

We’re all in this for the fun of it, and if it has stopped being fun for you then by all means take a break! I hope that everything works out for you, and I want to thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the game. Take another look at your song download numbers and be proud of your work
If you haven’t done so already, might I suggest picking up an instrument? If you are really into music and want to learn more about theory, that might be a great option. You already will have a strong concept of rhythm and pitch from working on customs, and if you put just as much dedication into learning an instrument I guarantee you will see results. It’s a great way to blow off steam as well! I learned to play guitar entirely from online tabs and videos.
Best of luck NL.
November 6, 2014 at 2:40 am #432238It was fun while it lasted wasn’t it? As some people know, I’m about to throw in the towel as well after the new year and I’d just like to tell you thanks for all the hard work you’ve done for me and C3. A lot of great content wouldn’t have been possible without you, so I hope you know you’ve made me and a lot of other people really happy. Hope to see you around again one day. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
December 3, 2014 at 12:42 am #433840So, coming to the rather terrible conclusion that working with IRL problems is apparently out of the question with my current living situation I might pop in now and then to chart some stuff just for the sake of distraction. Don’t expect a lot of activity, but maybe a little bit now and then.
