Nobody has mentioned The Weakerthans in this thread yet, so I guess I’ll have to

– a bit lower key, but still an awesome song (with amazing lyrics)
And one from their lead singer’s solo album, simple but the lyrics are quite fun:

Well, funny you bring up Billy Talent, because in the customs song Database, DeadCanadian has quite a lot of Billy Talent songs up, including Billy Talent II in its entirety. Granted, some of the links are messed up, like “Red Flag” leading to “Where is the Line,” but there you go. Sounds like a potential From the Vault release to me.
Yeah, I actually reviewed vocals for the version of Red Flag that’s on there, but I can’t remember if it was a full RB3 feature-rich version or not.

I’m guessing Arcade Fire didn’t meet the regulation in some way.It didn’t meet the “songs I like” criteria to merit me looking at it at the onset, but it’s not like I’ve gone through the entire catalogue of Canadian content yet.

I have a spreadsheet I’ve had since RB1 with the top 300 songs I felt would be perfect for Rock Band for cool factor and full band fun (many of which have been released), but number 12 on my list that’s still not available is “Boom Boom, Out Go the Lights! (Live)”. Also, his treatment of “Bang Bang, My Baby Shot Me Down” would play great too. Those need to be at the top of your Canadian project list.
List is far from complete, so expect him to show up on there eventually (there are a view other obvious no shows at this point, I’m sure).
