Well, guess I can go by this one after reading the above. I also play on expert, so really don’t have much interest in an easy only download. Good song selections though (Phil Collins, Prince, Glen Fry, Maroon 5, etc). Hope you’ll look into going expert on these sometime in the future.

It sounds like this thread would be more appropriate in the Custom Charts WIP area instead of the Other Customs Discussions area since these songs are not really even playable yet and only have one difficulty (albeit probably the least played on) on one instrument.

the quality of the charts are 120BPM, No Tempo Map, Literally Frets on Fire. It is discouraging me to release the song(s) on his upcoming list

the harmonix release is the cover version of come on eileen which was originally done by dexy’s midnight runner. so i think mneilan is on the right track. it would be awesome if someone could help out put a full band version by this artist.

It would be awesome if people helped work up to full band for most of the songs in the main post. A ton of songs I would love to play.

People are better off starting from scratch than trying to work with your easy only charts. Customs are always supposed to be charted starting with expert and then working your way backwards in difficulty. The only reason to use your charts would be if the tempo mapping is on point, but according to the OP, you seem to be lacking confidence in that.

 

If I were you I would go back to the drawing board and hold off posting anything until you have an idea on how to chart expert.

The guitar in this song…..the chart is a bit strange but I think this song is a difficult guitar song whatsoever.

But still I didn’t really understand what sound the chart was following.

 

Can you send me the reaperfiles and all the audio cuz I like to do the bass chart and want to start with this one and private investigation.

 

 

Oh, you forgot to do a count in with coldplay. That can be a problem if someone does the keys cuz they start straight away.

Again, I can chart but cannot build a custom, so maybe we can work together on some songs

I mean no disrespect, but that’s like saying “I can build a car engine, but I don’t know how to start it.” Nemo can’t make Magma any easier to use and you’re doing the most difficult part already (the charts). What’s stopping you from creating customs from your MIDIs?

You got a point colonel, but I saw the how to video and so I thought the tempo mapping and charting was all that it takes, but never saw what to do further.

Building the custom gave all kind of errors, but later I saw that one of the reasons was that I only chart expert.

 

So yes, I can do a tempo mapping and an expert bass chart with overdrive and 4 counts at the beginning, but after that…..I’m stuck.

 

Too bad cuz I got some great ideas for songs.

Fantastic bass line on Spandau Ballet I’ll fly for you, the great Talk Talk songs, Tears for Fears etc etc.
