I decided to make a little game for y’all. Which songs from the Rock Band 4 on-disc setlist would you keep and remove, and which songs would you replace the removed songs with? You can replace the removed songs with either songs not yet featured in the series or RB4 DLC that you feel should’ve been in the on-disc setlist.

    Here’s mine:

    Keep

    4 Non Blondes – What’s Up?

38 Special – Caught Up in You

Avenged Sevenfold – Hail to the King

    The Black Keys – Fever

The Cure – Friday I’m In Love

    Disturbed – Prayer

Dream Theater – Metropolis Part 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper

    Eddie Japan – Albert

    Elvis Presley – Suspicious Minds

    Grouplove – Tongue Tied

Judas Priest – Halls of Valhalla

The Killers – Somebody Told Me

    Live – All Over You

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – The Impression That I Get

    The Outfield – Your Love

    Paramore – Still Into You

The Protomen – Light Up the Night

Queens of the Stone Age – My God Is the Sun

Rick Derringer – Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo

    Scandal – The Warrior

Scorpions – No One Like You

Spin Doctors – Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong

System of a Down – Spiders

    Van Halen – Panama

Van Morrison – Brown Eyed Girl

    The Who – The Seeker

    Remove

Aerosmith – Toys in the Attic

    Arctic Monkeys – Arabella

    Benjamin Booker – Violent Shiver

    The Both – Milwaukee

Brad Paisley ft. Keith Urban – Start a Band

    Brandi Carlile – Mainstream Kid

    Cake – Short Skirt/Long Jacket

    Dark Wheels – V-Bomb

Duck & Cover – Knock Em Down

    Fall Out Boy – Centuries

Fleetwood Mac – You Make Loving Fun

Foo Fighters – The Feast and the Famine

Gary Clark Jr. – Ain’t Messin’ ‘Round

Gin Blossoms – Follow You Down

Halestorm – I Miss the Misery

    Heart – Kick It Out

    Heaven’s Basement – I Am Electric

Imagine Dragons – I Bet My Life

    Jack White – Lazaretto

Jeff Allen ft. Noelle LeBlanc and Naoko Takamoto – Recession

Johnny Blazes and the Pretty Boys – Cold Clear Light

    Lightning Bolt – Dream Genie

Little Big Town – Little White Church

    Lucius – Turn It Around

    Lynyrd Skynyrd – That Smell

Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars – Uptown Funk

Mumford & Sons – The Wolf

    Ozzy Osbourne – Miracle Man

    R.E.M. – The One I Love

Rush – A Passage to Bangkok

    Slydigs – Light the Fuse

Soul Remnants – Dead Black (Heart of Ice)

    Soundgarden – Superunknown

St. Vincent – Birth in Reverse

    Tijuana Sweetheart – Pistol Whipped

    U2 – Cedarwood Road

    U2 – I Will Follow

White Denim – At Night in Dreams

I only hate “I Bet My Life” from this list. I actually like some songs from this list, like Cedarwood Road, Kick It Out, Toys in the Attic, A Passage to Bangkok and Short Skirt/Long Jacket and I feel neutral for every other song I removed. I just feel like putting songs that I like more.

    Replace

Aerosmith – Same Old Song and Dance

    Anthrax – Got the Time

Autograph – Turn Up the Radio

    Bad Religion – Infected

    Bruno Mars – Runaway Baby

    Cake – The Distance

Creed – With Arms Wide Open

    Extreme – Play With Me

Five Finger Death Punch – The Bleeding

    Focus – Hocus Pocus

    Gin Blossoms – Hey Jealousy

Halestorm – Love Bites (So Do I)

    Harvey Danger – Flagpole Sitta

    Heart – Crazy on You

Huey Lewis and the News – Heart and Soul

Imagine Dragons – I’m So Sorry

    Incubus – Stellar

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts – I Hate Myself for Loving You

    KISS – God of Thunder

    Lenny Kravitz – Fly Away

    The Lumineers – Ho Hey

Motley Crue – Shout at the Devil

    Mudvayne – Not Falling

    Neon Trees – Everybody Talks

The Offspring – You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid

    Primus – John the Fisherman

    R.E.M. – Shiny Happy People

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Higher Ground

    Rush – Headlong Flight

    Shocking Blue – Venus

Smashing Pumpkins – Bullet With Butterfly Wings

Steely Dan – Do It Again

Steve Miller Band – Jet Airliner

Stray Cats – Rock This Town

    Ted Nugent – Stranglehold

The Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition

Twisted Sister – We’re Not Gonna Take It

    U2 – I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For

    Warrant – Cherry Pie

What would your list look like?

Eh, not really a huge fan of indie rock. I was actually considering keeping it. I’ll just put it back lol.

I should probably clarify that just because I remove these songs from the list doesn’t mean I hate them (with the exception of I Bet My Life). I just like some other songs more. If you like these songs, that’s totally fine. We all have our other opinions, but at least show me what songs you would remove and replace them with.

I haven’t actually listened to half the setlist, but goddamn I wish I could unhear Dream Genie. Hard remove from me.

to make this more relevant yoshii bro..your replace songs should be at least replace songs harmonix has done in some form or fashion.

Dream Genie has a fine line between people who think it’s amazing and people who think it’s awful. I personally love it. Noise rock certainly isn’t for everybody though and I get that.

Good evening, I’ve been reading more about Middle Eastern affairs recently because I have family ties in Jordan. That’s how I found http://news-araby.com , while searching for news that isn’t just repeated headlines. What I liked was the way it connected the dots between the Arabian Peninsula and neighboring regions. The geography is so diverse, yet the reporting didn’t make it feel scattered. Instead, I felt like I was getting a consistent and meaningful perspective.
