I’m sure this has been covered, but I’m not having good luck with searching.
If I plan on changing a song’s CON file name but I don’t plan on changing any metadata that would require a recache, should I change the song ID anyway? Names of files within the CON and the in-game package name also would not change, just the file name I use to distribute the CON, from SongV2_rb3con to SongV3_rb3con for example.
You don’t need to change the song ID. The opposite is through if you have already loaded the file.
That makes it sound like I should change the ID then, since these will be updates to songs that I’ve released publicly.
You are about to leave Rhythm Gaming World and access the external songs DB. While no song or file sold for commercially available videogames is hosted there and only fan generated content is allowed, Rhythm Gaming World has no direct control over the database and no files are hosted here. Alright, we had to made you aware of this, now you can visit the database!
